Yep, getting the print version set up on CreateSpace takes a few days for their process to work its way through the system, but I would guess by late Monday or Tuesday it should be ready to go.

This is really quite good, congratulations to Legendary Games folks for this add-on!

Something i was hopping was for an extended/detailed army list (with their stat blocks) like the one at Ultimate Campaign (but with the Ultimate Battle rules). Will it be present at the Ultimate War suplement?

Yes. One section of Ultimate War will be devoted to prebuilt armies, and if you're a fan of some of the mass combat events that have occurred over the years throughout the Paizo APs, let's just say you'll probably find a lot of things to enjoy in that section.

Status update on the Ultimate Battle Print Edition - check it out!

Hi Jason.

The update mentions that it works best for you if we order via CreateSpace (which is fine with me, ordering Ultimate Rulership through them went very smoothly). However, you also indicate you'll be getting printed stock yourselves eventually..

Would it work out even better for you if we bought them from you direct? Or is it essentially the same as getting them via CreateSpace?

If it is better to order them through you, are you able to handle overseas orders (ie to Australia)? (I realise the shipping is going to be stupidly expensive)

Rule question Jason: The 'movement' stat is mentioned a lot on the supplement, but i'm unable to find any base movement stat for armies (wether they are human soldiers, or any other race...specially if dwarves are never reduced their speed with medium/heavy armor). Also, the mounts resource movement is listed as 'as mount / as mount -1'...any idea where i should look for this data?

Movement is described in the "Army Statistics" section of Mass Combat in the Ultimate Campaign book (p. 234 in the 1st printing), but on looking at it the proper term for it is Speed, which is how many 12-mile hexes your army can traverse in a day's march at it's regular speed (per Tsble 7-6: Movement and Distance in the Core Rulebook).

Movement = Speed.

In the future will there be ways to get both the print book and the PDF from you in one order, the way you can with some other books and PDFs?

We're still working on coordinating that. The problem is that we can't do it through CreateSpace/amazon, because they don't sell PDFs.

We *could* do it ourselves, or have Paizo do it, but it would require delaying your purchase until the CreateSpace process is finished, then I order a batch of books, they ship to me, then I can post them up for direct sale and can sell and ship them to you.

Now, I could offer a "buy the PDF and preorder the book at the same time" plan. You could download the PDF right away and you would get the book whenever it makes its way through the above steps.

The trick is that, at the moment, our Wordpress shop plug-in is not processing shipping on the orders we've done so far. I could solve that problem by just offering a "shipping included" price, which would mean posting several products for each shipping "zone" (one for US, one for Canada, one for other international orders).

So, good question:

I'll be ordering a batch for Legendary Games to sell directly and to hand-deliver to Paizo's warehouse. Probably not in time for them to take the books to GenCon, alas, but as soon as possible they'll be on the way!
