As I've been researching AP qualities in general I find that a common opinion is that they're generally all pretty good, and one should decide what AP to play more on genre/theme preferences than the quality of the product because the quality is pretty good in all. So what's a tight, dense, boil-down of each AP's genre or theme? I think I have some idea of some of them but not all of them by any means.
Legacy of Fire - Arabia?
Jade Regent - Asia?
Shattered Star - Dungeons?
Carrion Crown - Horror?
Kingmaker - Politics?
Skull & Shackles - Pirates?
What would you consider the essential boil-down of the genre or theme of each AP, in preferably one word, but in any case less than a complete clause.
Is there an urban-themed AP through all parts 1-6? A six part wilderness themed AP? A "Planescape" (planar) AP or "Spelljammer" (space) type AP? Is Reign of Winter sort of like a time travel AP?
Basically, rather than discussing the quality of APs, what are their themes? If a person is into thing X, which AP has that thing.
With minimal spoilers of course. :)

Rise of the Runelords: Legendary!
Curse of the Crimson Throne: Sentimentality (there are some great themes in this AP that can really affect players so that is my choice)
Second Darkness: Secrets
Legacy of Fire: Love
Council of Thieves: Upraising
Kingmaker: Purpose
Serpent Skull: Discovery? (haven't played, haven't read)
Carrion Crown: Chance? (haven't played, haven't read)
Jade Regent: Journey
Skull and Shackles: Freedom? (haven't played, haven't read)
Shattered Star: Legacy
Reign of Winter: Fable? (haven't played, haven't read)
These are my choices. I mostly thought of bigger themes and aspects these campaigns have than what kind of villain or enemies there are.

Council of Thieves: Upraising
Really? (CoT: is not about rebellion.)
That is "The Road To Revolution" campaign.

Really? (CoT: is not about rebellion.)
Sorry, I'm not familiar with non-Paizo APs so I stand behind my choice.
I admit that upraising part in CoT could be done better and for example in CotCT there is much better working upraising theme but CoT was "sold" to me as rebellion campaign by my GM.Jason S |

The most urban AP is probably Curse of the Crimson Throne or Council of Thieves.
There is no planar AP or space AP. A planar one would be really cool though...
Rise of the Runelords: Classic
Curse of the Crimson Throne: Urban (this was tough to filter to one word)
Kingmaker: Sandbox
Skull and Shackles: Pirates
Carrion Crown: Horror

I think the Worldwound AP is the most likely to get planar.
RotRL : KILL !!!
There is some RP, but the best decision in almost every situation is to just kill it. Because even the ones who do not look like threats are.
Serpent Skull : diseases (vermins works also, as does Mindless)
Jade Regent : tourists
The Shining Fool |
Shackled City: ?
Age of Worms: undead or apocalypse (or both)
Savage Tide: DemogorgonRotRL: Iconic
CotCT: Rebellion
SD: Drow
LoF: Arabia
CoT: Urban
KM: hexploration or Settlers(of Catan)
SS: Pulp
CC: Horror
JR: Eastern
S&S: Pirates
SS: McGuffin or Dungeons
RoW: Baba Yaga
The new one: Demons
I would go with apocalypse over undead for Age of Worms. And for Shackled City I'd say either "Redemption" or "Salvation".
P.H.'s are my favorite entries so far.
