I'm sorry, but I cannot ask you any further questions.
Wait...
1) I don't hate Star Trek...I watch it I just don't worship it like some do,,,
2) As a true fan of the show you should know the the Prime Directive was made to be broken...

Then, if you look up androgenic alopecia, this question would not be difficult to answer.

True...but I felt that would have been cheating...

I'll have you know, cheating at Star Trek trivia is one of the three reasons the internet was invented by Al Gore in the first place.
Pornography, and more pornography were the other two.
Well I get two of those...
As for the cheating part...I like to hold myself above the standard of the internet...which admittedly is a very low bar...

Which is funny, because drunken Star Trek trivia is one of the three reasons why the Al Gore was invented in the first place.
No, there's nothing wrong with drinking bourbon before 11AM. Oh hush.

Of course, you realize that there is only one possible outcome.

The writers decide?
Actually, in Ship to Ship combat, the Federation will usually win.
This is because, as exploration/science vessels their sensors are quite advanced. This gives Star Trek ships the advantage of knowing the opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
As demonstrated in the linked animation, the Star Destroyer has inaccurate weapons, limited maneuverability and weak shields.
But, then there is this analysis.

I am sorry but are you going to tell me that a mere Empath can block a Sith Lord who can lift a x-wing fighter....can force choke somebody at extreme range...can wield a weapon so deadly and dangerous that non Jedi can't because they will cut of a limb?
I mean I might be able to see it if Vader was using Jedi mind tricks but he was using TK which I a all together different power.
Though overall I find these arguments to be kind of silly as neither George Lucus or Gene Rodenbury thought much about the military systems in their stories and pretty much decided based on plot needs at the time.
Personally the space navy from David Weber's Honor Harrington novels would wipe the floor with the Imperial Navy and the Federation combined.

Bah! One wormhole weapon would take out the entire fleet. Or the entirety of Sector 001.

But then it would keep going, and wipe out everything else.

This is true. Her "counter" with her empathic powers would have shown her the urgency of cutting the feed to - hopefully - break the connection between Picard and Vader.
The idea that she could directly counter Telekinesis was a bit much.Though overall I find these arguments to be kind of silly as neither George Lucus or Gene Rodenbury thought much about the military systems in their stories and pretty much decided based on plot needs at the time.

Actually, there is a video showing that the armies of Star Wars would have difficulty with the current U.S. military. :)
While such a video does not exist for Star Trek, I don't know if the outcome would be much different.
Of course, real armies are about defending the country not looking dramatic.

Farscape is amazing...must remember to go buy the roleplaying game off Amazon, I'm still owed a birthday present.
Also: what do you do when your phone just randomly dies? Asking for a friend. Which is me. Who is angry.
Also also: do any of your characters have a song that you associate with them?
The Farscape RPG was sadly meh...
Get a new phone...
It changes from moment to moment...

But, is it not a great alternate setting for Starfinder?

My spell-designing chops are underbaked, but:
Q: Would you consider a curry-based spell that imposes a penalty to winged targets' Fly skill checks and sickens them for 1 round; on a failed save, the Fly penalty increases and the winged target is nauseated?

Sadly, the setting is almost completely defined by the experiences of John Robert Crichton, Jr. and the RPG does not stray far from that.
This causes some problems. For example, the only "player" ship option is a leviathan, and that really isn't the most probable ship for a player party that isn't made of escaped Peacekeeper prisoners.
Also, the book wastes too much of its page count retelling the series episodes up to the end of the third season, when the game begins.

"androgenic alopecia" is the formal scientific name of "male pattern baldness."
My guess is all male captains except Picard(sp?)...because one would they would have cured that by than...and he is bald because of some strange reactor accident..,
