It seems to me to be a throw back to all that was wrong back than.

As I pointed out in the review, my biggest problem was all the "Non-Consensual." I realize that the adventure was meant as "adult" (a.k.a., porn), but still that specific part was just ::yuck::. No RL women were involved in the project - which I hope would have moderated some of the worse problems.

I intend to post this review, so is there anything that needs added, clarified, or removed?

I might expand on the 'non-consersual' stuff a little.

Otherwise it looks good.

"non-consensual" is a "fan fiction" term, it covers physical rape, obviously, but also both enslavement and mental manipulation. (Pedophilia or "Statutory Rape" falls into its own category.)

The adventure includes several instances of physical rape and one instance of mental manipulation.

I might edit down part of it. I don't actually have a problem with the armored bikinis, I just thought it funny that the male characters were not also "fanservice."

The product is clearly intended for a hetero-male audience.

I need something else to focus on, something better. This has bothered me for entirely too long.

I can understand that.

Now I should be able to "let it go."

Love that song.

So anymore questions for me?

Do you get to attend/participate in Paizocon?

Saint Bernard wrote:

I do not. I would love too (and Gencon) one day but right now I don't have the money for it.

Right now even more so...everyday of the con I could be myself without worrying about family, people at work, and even some friends reaction.

All I have is dreams.

This is a branching off my Game Review above.
When Creating "Pre-Generated Characters" for a D&D/Pathfinder setting …

What (In your opinion) would be the best:
* - Gender Balance? Include comments on LGBTQ+ representation.
* - Racial Balance? Include comments on ethnic balance for both human and demi-human characters.
* - Class Balance?

Any further comments?

1) I think you can let the players fill in the blanks for gender and sexuality.

2) I like the 1 human, 1 Elf, 1 Dwarf, 1 Halfling as a spread.

3) Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, and Wizard.

For more than 4 players you can be more creative

Beholders, Aboleths, Mind Flayers.

What do you think of these two.

So no, the players can't negate a misfortune effect with a fortune effect and then apply a new fortune effect to the roll using the normal rules.

Then, how stratagem itself's roll affects with fortune and misfortune effects.

Devise a Stratagem's description wrote:
Choose a creature you can see and roll a d20. If you Strike the chosen creature later this round, you must use the result of the roll you made to Devise a Stratagem for your Strike's attack roll instead of rolling.

Seems like Stratagem itself's fortune effect just reuses it's result.

And don't forget there is "reroll fortune" things.

Fortune/Misfortune

This coin reminds nostalgia happiness, and bring fortune. Will be misfortune too.

Frequency Once per (day or 10 minutes) for both but sharing its count

Trigger Roll is in effect of fortune/misfortune and about to be in effect of opposite side: You can negate one fortune/misfortune which you can choose from currently in effect or one about to be in.

Trigger Rolled die has value that lower/equal or higher than axiomatic value: Flip that value (New value is max value - that value +1) per die. Do this to all die that described in trigger, in same roll.

Add: This item has both fortune and misfortune, but negate one doesn't cause normal reroll but no more fortune/misfortune to same roll still applied. For flip's one, using in effect of fortune/misfortune is not fortune/misfortune effect.

Honestly confusion.

I have not touched PF 2nd ed in a long time. So it has been kinda out of my mind.

Going back to the original context, what "game setting" has been on your mind?

Ah Rokugan.

A little Golarion.

Selene Spires wrote:

I have a problem with L5R (and 7th Sea).

Both setting grew out of the respective collectable card games. This caused AEG to include write ups for all the characters from that card game. Just too many lovingly detailed NPCs (often with unobtainable arrays of stats and abilities).

I do note that one of AEG's contemporaries, White Wolf, fell into the same trap with World of Darkness - with out even a CCG to lead them there.

Selene Spires wrote:

I am likely to upset you, but I'm not happy with the direction that Golarion has developed since Skull & Shackles.

Selene Spires wrote:

Most of the NPCs are very "high level" (The Forgotten Realms (1st-3rd edition) had this same problem). This creates a problem for making the PCs the central heroes of the story; it can be difficult for the players to feel that their characters are important.

What I meant by "unobtainable" is that few campaigns last long enough for the player characters to get even close to these levels.

In first edition Golarion, Paizo took pains to avoid this problem by pushing down the average NPC level.

I quite liked 1st Ed Golarion. But some of the changes for 2nd Edition bother me.

Really? Mine tend to fall apart long before then. :( I've only been in five that went long (2xAD&D, Shadowrun, Mage: the Ascension, & Pathfinder 1st).

Hello Everyone...
So maybe some good news. A friend has invited me over to his place so I can hangout at his place presenting as a woman.

It is a maybe because friends have made similar gestures before and there is never any action to back it up.

So fingers cross.

Other than that are there any questions for me?

What are your feelings about a "Flash Gordon"-like* setting for Starfinder, Pathfinder, or Star Hero?

* - the "like" part is so the Player characters can be in the "roles" of Flash, Dale, Zarkov, Baron, Thun, Aura, etc. without having to actually be those specific characters.

It could be fun.

I'm having trouble thinking of a question that I've not asked before, often multiple times. :(

That is okay Lord Fyre. You have asked me alot of things.

Tou deserve a break.

Hi Selene, not sure if you're a rules guru, but do you know the answer to this:

In 1E, if you're a human with 30ft movement speed and you perform a Bull Rush as a Standard Action and somehow defeat their CMB by 30, are you allowed to move with the target up to 30ft?

We've been batting this question around in the Rules Forum and can't form a consensus.
