Kyonin scenario written by Ryan Costello.

Pathfinder tales boon will be grouped in sets of four boons per chronicle sheets as well.
Edit: Also collect all four books and get a cooler boon.

Tales boons will be one per player instead of one per character, but can be switched between characters until all four tales boon are used. Which will then open up the better boon that is locked into one character.
Thanks, you guys are saints. Made being stuck at work for another half hour not so bad knowing I wont miss much.

Upcoming boon will require you to poke eye holes in it and wear it as a goblin mask.
Looking to remove the table pressure to play up for more wealth.
It's official. They're doing the thing I called on page 1 exactly.
If you play 1-2, everyone gets 1-2. If you play 4-5 and you're 1-2, you also get 1-2.
Brief discussion on what playing up does to the balance of the game. In order to stop playing up which causes balance issues they will be...
Chronicle Wealth change: No changing past wealth, but Season 5 will use an across the board wealth will be based for your characters sub tier, or the sub tier you play in. Which ever is lower.

Ugh. I am not delighted by this.
I like the risk/reward style for playing up. I've had some incredibly close calls while playing up that made it exciting
Also, as someone mentioned earlier, playing up generally requires more consumable use to make it through, which helps even out the gold anyways. If playing up didn't also increase the gold you'd get a reverse effect where playing up actually nets you higher risk and lower usable wealth.
Called the wealth.
Playing up won't give you extra wealth anymore, unless you're right between the two subtiers.
Playing down won't cost you gold anymore unless you're right between the two subtiers.
Season 5 starts gold awarded by character level. Unless you play down, then you get the lower reward.
5th level character gets 4-5 tier gold rewards, unless he plays 1-2.
1st level character gets 1-2 rewards, even if he plays up.

Huh, do I have to make a thread about how now everyone wants me to play down because they don't get anything for playing up?
Do you still get access to the higher tier's chronicle gear and boons?
How would this effect boons that are dependent on tier?
Like:
Though they wouldn't be opposed to people coming up with better ideas and suggesting it.
No you would get the items appropriate to your sub-tier.

I see so many issues with this new wealth curve idea...
Looks like I need to have back up characters prepared for high tiers of all events I play at. There is no point in playing up except for the challenge, which I don't care about. If I get less rewards but increased risk, I call shenanigans.
Hopefully, they clear it up in some blog posts or something. My feed is so choppy and crappy. I'm relying on you guys to keep me updated!
So in a nutshell, you will get the gold and rewards appropriate to your character's level, regardless of what level you play it at. If your character level is between sub-tiers, you get the rewards for the sub-tier you play at.

Scenario faction missions may lead to faction goals changing and maybe even factions alignments.
Wow Lantern Lodge sounds like it's gone.
We are losing the Lantern Lodge.
The will be leaving in a scenario this year.

Not a fan of the wealth change. Low tier players now should absolutely, under no circumstances, play up. This only makes it more complicated to actually set up a table. Dissapprove.
However. I *do* like the change to factions actually having a purpose and changing faction goals and alignments.
It's official - Lantern Lodge gone.
Still waiting for the 2nd faction.
Edit: Shadow Lodge gone too.
We are also going to lose the Shadows Lodge faction.
The other is Shadow Lodge! Wow!

PC's can switch to a new faction at no charge and if they complete the retirement scenario you'll get a cool boon as a thank you.

Agree.
Although, here is my rant about the 2nd part.
While it is neat, the problem lies with the fact that I must rely on the thousands of other faction members to change the faction. So, my "story" or idea of the faction will not generally be the same as everyone else.
End Rant. That just happens to be with PFS.
Still a really cool idea with the faction changing.

Glory to House Thrune! Cheliax isn't going anywhere.
Lantern Lodge will retire in:
Shadow Lodge will retire in:
They may allow GM's apply the credit from those scenarios to a character they have in that faction regardless of tier in order for that character to have a chance at closure.
Man.... and I really thought that the Shadow Lodge had some strong story hooks. The potential was so vast... wow.
(Cheliax, woot!)
This only really effects one of my characters. He may go Grand Lodge as its the only one I can fit to it.
Damn! retiring First Steps.

Shadow Lodge, really!.!.! Can't decide between utterly surprized or disappointed.
if your character is to high level to play the LL or SL retirement scenarios, than they are thinking to let you apply the chronicle to your character if you GM one of them
Id also love to see perhaps an Aspis/Shadow Lodge hookup, or just the Shadow Lodge going bad boy again. Well better bad boy. Its often hard to see the difference between the Aspis and Pathfinder Society :)
Wishing the Scarzni had taken the hit instead of Shadow Lodge, but I'm not dissapointed in which factions got the axe.
Gah the new idea for wealth is silly. I think it will create an equal amount of consternation.
One issue I see is that less tables will be made. people wanting to play in their character in a tier can not convince a lower level to play up so they are both better off.
Let's brainstorm productive ideas about wealth here.
Agree. On the other hand, my main character would basically triple their wealth had this always been the way it worked as I almost always play at or down. So I'll wait and see, I guess.
