Does Weapon Finesse apply to meteor hammer?

Advice

I'm designing a monk for a Rise of Runelords campaign, and there's some argument as to whether or not, as a monk/exotic weapon, the Weapons Finesse feat can be applied to using a Meteor Hammer. I've also heard something about "finesse" being a weapon QUALITY? can anyone point me in the direction of some "official" info on the matter?

Meteor Hammers are not a light weapon and their weapon description does not say that they can be used with Weapon Finesse. Those are the only two ways a weapon can be used with Weapon Finesse.

You could use it with a Tiny Meteor Hammer.

There's technically a third: ask your GM. If he/she says yes, then use it. RAW, though, it is not a finesse weapon.

Best rogue concept ever.

then you'd get minuses for using an off size weapon.

Of course.

GM requires OFFICIAL ruling from Paizo to allow it.

Then the answer is "no," I guess.

The official ruling is no. Weapon Finesse only works on light weapons and a few weapons not in that category; those weapons are specified as working with Weapon Finesse in their descriptions.

meteor hammers are normally 2 hand weapons. if you want finesse you need an elven curve blade. What about Kyoketsu Shoge? That's a monk weapon, so you can flurry with it.
