I will bring some extra stuff for adhoc GMing as is, so should be no problem.

That's the idea. You're running "The Price of Friendship" at the Convention right? Otherwise no way to get the scenario beforehand.

Assuming so, Wed morning/night, or Wed/night + Thurs/morning?

I've seen it!

lol - Yes you gave my wife an I an APG, but after reading your rules on what you expect in a PFS game, I ended in the fetal position, sucking my thumb, crapping myself....

Christine, I would be interested as would my wife, well she said depends when she gets the downloads to the PFS Scenario she is going Friday and Saturday morning. Which happens to be that Price of Friendship you've seen. =) We get into Seattle Thursday between 11am and Noon.

We are thinking around 6 or 7 on Thursday evening. I will get you more details as we further discuss, 1d8+1. :)

Sounds good.

That's probably because you forgot you needed a rope. The last guy who forgot the rope has been stuck in that position for a year. You'll get over it.

Christina - I'd love to get in on that game. Will it be PFS and, if so, what tier?

Rusty,

What level characters do we need for the Wednesday game and Thursday game

The Wednesday night game is We Be Goblins, which uses pre-generated characters.

The Thursday game - let's say second level characters.

It is Pathfinder. Not tier, as it is not PFS. Just running a Midgard game off the grid for 6th-level characters. I don't even know what I will run yet. You are welcome to join in. I hope there are places for pickup games at the hotel.

Thanks, Christina, but I've got to level up one of my characters for a Fri. AM game. I think I'm going to to cobble together a game on Thurs. night. I'll run Echoes of the Overwatched. If anyone's interested, look for me in the lobby of the Marriott about 6:00 on Thurs. night. I'll run subtier 1-2.

Here is an update for the games that I will be running. These games are open to anyone, in fact we need another 2 to 4 players to make a nice sized group. If you want to play reply here or send me a PM.

Wednesday July 3rd, 7:00 pm to Midnight
Game: PFS* We Be Goblins!

Players
1. Monkplayer

Thursday July 4th, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm-ish with breaks for food.
Game: Sandpoint Sandbox. This will be a homebrew game that barrows a bit from RotRL #1 Burnt Offerings and the gaming material from the back of the comics. I'm unfamiliar with We Be Goblins well because we don't play PFS. I know see that it's a PFS module and Justin isn't a PFS member.

Monk - you'll love We Be Goblins - it's not really PFS, you can just get PFS credit for playing/running it. Enjoy yourselves! My spouse and I had a huge blast last year playing it Sunday night.

Certainly! Gnomes are not likely character candidates or half-orcs. Let's meet up around 7 pm in the lobby on Thurs the 4th.

Rusty's game is at the hotel. His game is Wednesday night at 7:00pm and Thursday all day long. I have us reserved a private area so all RSVP's for Rusty's game need to send Rusty your contact info (PM him). He will let you know, or I will here where we're meeting at.

Justin and I will be playing in the Wednesday night game. We signed up for PFS.

Were this to happen, what PFS Event should I use? Or should I just make my own for it?

Ooops! I got in game and leveled up this week. I think I'll cancel my game and just meet, eat, and maybe see if I can get in on someone else's game Thurs. night...

@MP - As Majuba said, We Be Goblins does not require a PFS character. It uses pregenerated goblin characters. But playing it can earn you a PFS chronicle, so I thought offering chronicles if anyone wants them might entice a few more players.

On that note, we still need a few more players for both wednesday night and thursday!

I expect to arrive myself at the meet & eat sometime between 3 and 5PM. (I'm driving down from British Columbia, so there's both the uncertainty of the border wait and the uncertainty of the bridge-out-detour that makes it difficult for me to estimate when I'll arrive. That's on top of the when-can-I-drag-my-lardass-out-of-bed uncertainty.)

I'm going to come ready to run a couple of first-level PFS games. One will be First Steps II ("To Delve the Dungeon Deep"), which is designed for newbies. The other will be a scenario from Season 0. I'm going to bring pregens, of course, but also some PFS characters that I've made that you can slap a name on and take over as your very own. So, these will be n00b friendy. I'll run one of 'em if there are enough people there interested.

Character Name - Name IRL - Paizo Boards Name
* DM - Russ - Rusty Ironpants
Poog of Zarongel - Erick - Monkplayer
Mogmurch - Justin - Monkplayer +1
Reta Bigbad - Jenny - Jezebel
Ret Bigbad - Scott - Xot
Chuffy Lickwound - Kyle - MoonTech
Huffy Lickwound - Aaron - Evil Minion

Adventure Details as told by Chuffy Lickwound

Our adventure started in the typical Goblin fashion of understanding and polite conversation…and then Huffy messed everything up! He's been a nettle in my hay-sack since he was born, just after me cuz Mom likes me best and let me out first!

We were summoned by Slorb to meet with Chief Gutwad because we are the bestest Goblins of all Goblins…and then they invited Huffy also.

Chief Gutwad asked us to sit but there was only one chair then the Chief took it… he's very confusing to me!

Chief Gutwad told us that we need to find fireworks that Skribbleface hid. Skribbleface had been banned from the tribe for writing things down…BAD!

When we left he gave Ret a map. Then there was a bonfire to celebrate our ultimate goblinness…and they let Huffy also come.

Then there was a contest, many. First we had to Eat a Bag of Bull Slugs Real Quick. The slugs have a poison sack. I'm a very good tricky goblin and slipped one into Huffy's basket. He's too dumb to notice. Then I tried to slip one into Reta's basket. She's not a dumb like Huffy. Then I tried to slip another into Huffy's basket but then he got smart like Reta…so I punctured the poison sack on one of mine and drained it all over Huffy's worms. Huffy went back to dumb, he kept eating them. Huffy is still sick. Oh and Huffy's pustules popped. Ret punctured his slugs on a goblin-ka-bob and put them to the bonfire. He won and isn't sick

Next came Hide or Get Clubbed Ret got scared and took off running…for a very long time and then a little longer. Reta got clubbed. Mugmurch hid. Game over. I would have hid real good but Mugmurch is selfish and went and won. Mugmurch is now in my memory list of "Bad Things for Goblins I Love".

Now it was time to brave The Rusty Earbiter. Poog covered himself in Squealy Nord poo to be slippery. I lined up behind Huffy, he got scared and tried to jump into another lane in front of Poog. He tripped and got cut then Poog pushed him into the Earbiter and walked away. Mogmurch, Huffy and I started the race the others were not as brave as we are but me bravest most! Mogmurch and Huffy are copycat brave of my type. Huffy was ahead of me so I let my pet spider Stankrush go bite him in his face. Huffy got scared and stuck and cut and then tried to get brave but he's not brave. Ret and Poog kept pulling the Earbiter trying to get us all stuck but they're not strong like they needed to be. Mogmurch won again and I remember him a second time in my memory list of Bad Things.

Chief Gutwad spoke to say that we need to Dance with Squealy Nord. I snooked off and helped Nord swallow my Potion of Jump. Nord will drink anything. I tried to place bets on Nord with other Goblins but they don't know betting. Note to Chuffy - teach goblins to bet but not do it so that they win, but I win. Many speeches were given to Chief Gutwad to get to go first and even though mine was best Poog was selected. Poog was still slippery from Nord poo and Nord was jumpy from potion sauce. Poog…STILL HELD ON! WHA?! HOW?! My plan was goblin-proof! Poog cheated by his God Zarongel helping him and he also got put in my memory list of "Bad Things for Goblins I Love".

Poog stayed up too late talking big about himself. We went to sleep. Chief had goblins get us up early buy setting fire to our blankets. Poog is still sleepy, Reta and Mogmurch are still sick from Slugs. We headed out on adventure. Huffy used a patch from his cloak and made a loud horn. He sang through the horn while we walked. He's a good singer even though Mom tried to pick out his throat cords for crying too much when he was a baby. I remember this cuz I decided to grow up faster than him.

He sang so well Lotslegs Eat Goblin Babies Many dropped down on us before we knew he was there. I caught him with my grappling hook and kept trying to pull him off of his web. Poog jumped on Lotslegs' back while Ret stabbed him in his underbelly. I pulled again and Poog fell off. Lotslegs finally fell to the ground and everyone tried to kill him but I killed him best.

We continued following the map until we saw the house with the rounded bottom (The Old Shipwreck). There was a HORSE!!! We hid, but Reta hot a good hider and horse see's us. Ret charged, jumped the fence and got stabby with the horse. I also charged, jumped the fence and also got stabby on the horse, but horse still standed. Reta charged also but slipped and…KA-RANG!!! The fence got clubby on Reta. Horse tried to stomp on Reta but missed and died…cuz in the end, I killed it best.

I saw a ladder to the rounded-bottom house and climbed it. Some meanie put a trip-wire at the top. I tripped. A wasp nest fell towards Mogmurch but he caught it and put it in a pool of water. They yelled at me but as far as I'm concerned that was a successful trap disablement. There were dogs barking at us on the deck of the ship Ret and Reta charged. Deck too small to fit me so I climbed on top of the roof to get a good eye to dart the dogs. But there was a door, so I went in instead. Lots of dead goblin bones and a goblin stew brewing. I found Skribbleface…well some of Skribbleface. There was lots of yelling and dog barking still so I gathers up Skribble-stuff in a sack and put it on my back. I went outside to see that Ret was hurt bad from dog #1 and dog #2 had Reta and Mogmurch scared. I jumped off the roof with my Dog slicers and yelled "STABBY FROM ABOVE" as I jumped onto Dog #2. It died. I killed it best!

We found fireworks and shot them off as we returned home…most of them but not all.
