How much for a pipe?

Pathfinder Society

So I have been able to find tobacco for sale in a PFS legal source, but no means of smoking it. Is there a legal way to own a pipe, or better yet, a cigar?

For incidental, fluff items like that, there is no listed value. If you want one, you have one.

I want to make sure, as I intend to also use it to have a ready source of flame for lighting smokesticks and such. At that point, it ceases to be merely fluff.

Pay the cost for a tinderbox, then, I'd say..you'd have to have a way to light the pipe regardless.

Believe it or not, this has been asked before.

Also, here are some past items that have appeared in PF products:
-Fine Chelish cigar (5 gp)
-A smoking pip of meerschaum carved in the shape of a whaling vessel (60 gp)
-A smoking pipe of scrimshaw carved into an unidentifiable mass of tentacles (60 gp)
-A smoking pipe carved from soapstone in the form of a skum (60 gp)

Real men just grab a wad of tobacco in their hand, light it on fire, and press it against their face.

I did a search on both "tobacco" and "pipe" before posting, but I didn't see that thread GV, thanks. I would like to know which products had those products in them, in case I need to actually play in one to justify having a ready source to light alchemical bombs and smokesticks. It looks like 60gp is pretty standard for a "fancy" pipe, judging from these examples.

(I am right that you have to have open flame to use a smokestick, correct?)

Yes please! pleasepleasepleaseplease!

the fine cigar will open so many RP possibilities!

The "fine Chelist cigar" is smoked by Akron Erix from the Second Darkness adventure Children of the Void, page 31. The three smoking pipes are treasure found during the Carrion Crown adventure Wake of the Watcher, page 36.

I own both of those. I guess I will have to see if those pages are in the Additional Resources section and upload my PDF to my skydrive! Thanks!

*edit:Annnnd they aren't. Of course! Dammit Jim!*

I play a sort of goofy character in one game who smokes a pipe. No listed value, as I assume it's just a simple pipe.

He lights it with a spark spell.
