I feel substantially better today, but still not 100%.
I still coughing up a bunch of junk. I slept some more after calling the Dr office though.
Good. Rest.
At work. Maybe an hour and a half of sleep today. Going to be a long night

My cough is getting worse, and I'm not convinced this is just the flu. Charla told me not to come in if I'm not feeling up to it...and I'm not.
I think I'm gonna call my Dr tomorrow. I think I need different medicine.
SOUNDS LIKE IT. tHOUGH THIS YEAR'S FLU IS A REALLY BAD ONE.

Having trouble getting the heat to work in the apartment.
Haved to make sure it's working before I go to bed. Hopefully I get some better sleep tonight.
Henry said that it's serious, and people have died from it already.
That's why I'm being so cautious. With my history of respiratory issues, I can't afford to take chances with this.
Absolutely. I can't remember the last time I was sick for longer than three days. This has taken 10 for me to feel human again

Called out tonight. Sivan talked me into using a sick day. Needed sleep.
Well, last night was the first one I slept without waking up a bunch of times choking. I tried calling the dr. yesterday, but they wouldn't do anything because I hadn't finished the stupid flu medicine yet.
So, I looked at my medicine turntable thingy, and found a bottle of prescription decongestant from the last time I got really sick. I started taking it yesterday and I think it's helping. Drs be damned, if they won't help me, I'll help my damn self.
Anyways, I have to go back to work today, because if I'm out 3 days I have to get a Drs note to come back, and I can't afford another Dr visit just for a note. I'm not going in till 1 though, so there's that.

Oh and yeah, glad you called out tonight. I'm not the only one that needs to take care of themselves.

I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but you also have to take care of yourself in order to take care of others. You do yourself no favors by running yourself into the ground and not resting properly. I even stayed home a whole extra day to take care of myself, so you do the same. Take time for yourself, and your own needs. I know it took me getting super sick to finally stop and take care of myself....I just don't want to see you end up really sick again.
Anyways, good job Sivan. I'm glad she was able to talk some sense into you. ;oP

Okay, I gottta lay down. I got goop all over my chest and under my nose so I can breath. I had to wait till it wore off just a little cuz I got too much on me and I don't want to stink Henry out of the bed. Now that we're over it for the most part, I'm going to have to wash all our bedding like I've been washing the rest of the stuff in this house to get rid of our germs.

Charla was so happy to see me today that when she went on lunch, she came back and brought me a route 44 cherry limeaid. My most favorite drink from sonic. Especially when they put extra cherries and lime in it. Yummy. So, I drank 1 30oz cup of water and one really big cherry limeaid in the 4 hours I was at work, and then between on my way home and now, I had 2 more 30oz cups of water, so I should be alright.
I try not to drink water and stuff so late, but I'm thirsty all the time and no matter how much I drink, it doesn't seem to go away.
And no, I'm not diabetic. Been tested dozens and dozens of times. Just another part of my crazy mutant body stuff. I'm taking lots and lots of medicine to knock this crap the rest of the way out of me, so I have to stay hydrated cuz I dry out pretty easily.
Anyways, I gots to lay down and settle my head for sleep. Things will start getting back to normal in a few days...more or less, and then I'll be able to go back to going to bed at a little more normal hours. Though...last night was one of the first nights I slept solid through without waking up choking on anything. *smiles* I guess I know my body just a little bit better than these drs think I do. And right now, it needs sleep so I need to shut it off.
Yeah, best laid plans and all. Something got the dog riled up, so I had to go out to the living room and get her settled down again.
I go sleep for realsies now.

Okay, for whatever reason, it don't seem to be working tonight.
Everything is stopped up and my ears are hurting. Nothing is staying open long enough for me to fall asleep, and I can't get comfortable.

Maybe after a full day of work or two, myg body will be tired enough to do the regular sleep thing again. It's not like I'm not tired, my body just hates me is all.
That's okay though, I'll have plenty to do at work tomorrow to keep me busy. I got two big bags of Shotgun Dan's deposits waiting for me in the night drop, pictures to color, training test things to take, and Charla was approved for a first time home buyer loan...so, I'm gonna help her find a home for her and Makynna. The search on Realtor.com begins tomorrow.
Lots and lots to do, but it's so exciting. I can't wait for them to find a home so they can have their own space. I just live thed research part of finding a home. I spent over 6 months looking at places online, before we ever finalized loan paperwork, or even got a real estate agent. Since I put in all the preliminary work, it only took us 3 weeks to find a home that I absolutely love. Then again, it only took me three weeks to know that Henry was the only man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and when I walked into that house....I knew it was the one I wanted to grow old with him in. If that makes any sense at all.

It's a pizza place, and a horrible one at that. I honestly do not understand how they stay in business.
Finally fell asleep, but it took forever. Now have to get ready for work.
I need sleepy sleep come hell or high water tonight. It's been kind of a rough day.
With storms moving in and the weather shifting again, my head is totally stopped up. Had to get more cough syrup tonight, cuz Henry and I already finished the bottle that I got on Saturday.
I left work just a few minutes early to go tuo our friend's work, so I could pick up a bunch of boxes that he had broken down for me....but his work is downtown and it's difficult uo get to, and I'm not used to approaching it from that direction....and well...I got lost.
Blah blah blah, finally got to his restaurant where he works, got boxes loaded up, took him to Wal-Mart for some things we both needed, took him back home, and got more boxes from him there.
By the time I got home, it was after 7 and I was exhausted, so we went and grabbed a bite to eat, and eventually got home after 9.
I is sleepy.
Oh, we super busy this weekend.
Not sure when we'll be on again. I have to go tuo the hospital after dinner to take some food to a friend.
Her husband has been very sick for a while now, and he coded yesterday.
He's 35, and they have 3 children. The oldest is 12, the youngest is 6. I'm not sure how old the middle boy is, but she says that he is taking it the hardest. The other two are just quiet and withdrawn, but he's so angry. Angry at everything...and she's just overwhelmed and hurting and trying to figure out what's next and how to deal with the possibility of leaving that hospital without the love of her life.
She said that her middle boy, I so tired I can't remember his name right now...he's been pointing at random strangers on the street, in stores....just about anywhere, and saying, "Why not him? Why can't he die? Why does it have to be my dad?!"
So, tomorrow evening I'm gonna make some spaghetti and garlic bread, and I'm going tuo take her some and just spend some time with her because she needs someone to talk to that isn't a nurse or Dr in her face, trying tuo make her decide all these things at Once about the love of her life....
It's just not fair....I just...I'm so tired of seeing people I care about being put through so much crap, while I just sit back and have to watch. I just...I HATE feeling like there's nothing I can do to stop it. There's no do overs here, and it sucks.
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest before trying to sleep.
I'm tired...but my brain is the problem. I can't take my anti anxiety medicine right now, and it's just going through the roof.
Anyways, I go now. I at least close my eyes. If I could jyst stop thinking for like 5 minutes, I knows I go night night.

At some point. I couldn't get to her tonight, when I was fixing dinner I texted her and she said that there were a lot of people there right now, and that she was okay on dinner. So, her family probably had her eat something.
I'll take her some spaghetti and garlic bread at some point tomorrow and check on her then.
I had a surprise interview for a lead position this morning. Not likely to get it but I gave it a shot anyway.

I did, I'm just still pretty worn out from everything we did this weekend. I feel like we're really getting close to being out of the apartment though. Just need to get the rest of our stuff out. I just have so much more stuff than I thought I did. We'll need to make one trip just for all the appliances we have. Lol
We really did get a lot done this weekend though, and even started unpacking a little bit. Even that is an ordeal though, because I have so many more cabinets, I have to figure out where I want to put everything.
I can feel us nearing the finish line now though. :o)

Yeah, things have been stressful/craptacular here.
As if moving isn't stressful enough, these spectacular asshats here, who don't know their ass from a hole in the wall, are sending us eviction notices for like non payment, when we paid the rent for January, and I was told that we didn't need to worry about the 1500.00 for breaking our lease early because they would just send it to a collection agency.
When I took the letter to vacate to the office, the girl told me that she would send the information for the collection agency for our penalty payment to my email. I never got it.
Instead, we have gotten 2 notices that we will be evicted unless we pay the 1500.00 that we owe.
This is freaking ridiculous and I am so beyond sick of these ass#oles $hit.
Amtrak needs more trains that can go from one place to another without making things so complicated. When I used to travel by train between CA and AR, I always had at least one stopover. It was usually only for a few hours though while the train changed cars. Long enough to walk to a Dennys and eat some real food.
Ugh.
I had to stay in Chicago for like 16 hours, stuck in the freezing cold train station because apparently they don't believe in heat, while I was going to New York to see Cindy and the girls that one time....I wouldn't want anyone to have to spend the night there.
Their system is all kinds of broken and forget about trying to figure stuff out on line. They don't have good methods for accessing information on their site. I had to actually call the stupid place and listen to some automated chick before I was able to talk to an actual person.
Stuff....just stuff.
