I gotta take a shower and then I'll try to make some posts. It's just been a crazy kind of week, and I slept for crap last night.
Had some freaky dreams about some guy that was either after me, or I was after him....can't even remember really, except that he stripped the flesh off of people....while they were alive.
It was pretty awful.

OKay, so now I need to let my hair dry a little more before I go to bed, and I'm trying to make sure Dixie doesn't need to go to the bathroom again before I go to bed.
She ate more tonight, and seems to be doing a little better. It's still pretty hard to tell though. She has lost sooo much weight and her bones are just...anyways, we're still giving her the stuff to work that stuff out of her system. Today she has had more food and water than she has taken in over a week, so I'm feeling a little hopeful. We just have to finish getting that stuff out of her system....but if there's not enough of an improvement soon, I'll think about our friends offer of helping us with taking her to the vet. As long as she seems to be progressing, we'll try to avoid that. We'll just have to see what happens. I think if we can just get her through until we get into the house and can get her a little friend, that she'll be able to make it.
I'm gonna try to post some stuff while waiting for my hair to dry. I'm pretty tired, so not sure how it will turn out...but I'm gonna try, because our next few days are gonna be pretty packed with stuff.
We have our company Christmas party tonight, and we'll be getting home pretty late from that. Friday night we are having a triple date with Henry's Branch Manager/friend, and their friend Cristian, and their wives, and maybe David's baby girl if they can't find a sitter. Not sure about that yet.
Then Saturday I have to go to a stupid defensive driving class because some Asshat state trooper didn't have anything better to do on a Sunday night than pull me over for going with the flow of traffic. While I'm very tempted to go to that class on Saturday and fill them in on just how stupid that is, I will try to control my smart ass side, and just sit through the stupid $hit and go home at 3 to do a bunch of other stuff I have to do. I will do all this while hopefully staying out of stores as much as possible. Though I do need more stamps, but that's what the post office is for. :)
I ran out of boxes to pack things in, so I have to wait unitl I either get more boxes, or pick up some totes to put stuff in. I don't know....there's just, so much stuff. So much, and I feel like time is just going by way too fast. *sigh*
Hope date night is fun, and the defensive driving class goes quickly and easily.
8-3 is too long in my book. Especially when I'm able to sleep in so few mornings, and considering I'm barely sleeping as it is, the stupid bastard will be lucky if I don't just run his ass over and call it a day.
It's BS, and if I don't get enough sleep beforehand, I'm gonna tell them exactly what I think.
No sleep=no filter, plus super cranky on top of that....it's gonna be no bueno. I'm already feeling resentful for being given a ticket for doing the same thing as every other damn person on that highway. Obviously they're too busy sitting on the side of thed road, to see what it's like to drived on it, and it's not gonna change a damn thing about the way I drive either, so I don't see the point in it other than paying 40 rather than 190.
I have NEVER gotten a ticket in my whole, however many years I've been driving since I was 23 or 24, and I shouldn't have gotten one now. He needs to get his ass off the sided of the road and go catch real criminals.

So, the brakes on my dad's vehicle went out on their way home, and they are now stuck in Albuquerque, New Mexico till they can get them fixed. They're hoping to be back on thed road by Tuesday. I'm just glad that no one was hurt, and that itg happened somewhere that they were able to get help, and not in the middle of nowhere.

The brakes went out as he was coming off the freeway, and going downhill. He barely had enough power to stop at thed bottom of the hill. I found this out on Friday, while on my lunch break. I had called them on my lunch break to ask my mom hows the trip was going, and she said, "It isn't." Then shed told me what happened. I'm just hoping that those people fixijng their vehicle dont try to take advantage of them and their situation.
That too. Their hotel is also directly across from a Denny's, so their able to eat. I'm just so glad itg happened where it did, and that it didn't caused them to bed in an accident.
They are going to be so sick of Denny's by the time they get home.
I know right? Lol
I am soooo sad. I haven't been able to find Christmas stickers for my cards anymore.
I'm gonna have to send out cards without stickers.

It wasn't the brake lines, butg thed littled electronic thingy the lines go onto that disperse thed braked fluid that messed up. They had to order the part, so it depends on how long itc takes them to get it and then fix the problem.
People are so stupid. Why can't they just die?
Lunch is only 30 min today, well prob all week, so I ain't got no time to post at lunch.

Mom and dad haven't heard anything from the body shop as of yet.
They're hoping to be out of there by tomorrow morning, but it just depends on the shop and if they get it fixed in time.

I get paid to bake cookies, make popcorn, and laugh my head off....on most days. I'd say, given what kind of craptacular jobs we've had in the past, that that's pretty damn good. Lol
On another note, I'm freaking stupid. Sooo....I've been making out lots and lots of Christmas cards. Wrote out the last one for coworker and was working on the one for my friend in Japan that I've known since I was 16 freaking years old.
For the longest time her name was Wakana Kudo. However, for the last several years, her name has been Wakana Kutsuzawa. I KNOW this, have known it for the last 8 or 10 years. Ever since she got married as a matter of fact.
Anyways, I was making out her Christmas card and for some dumbass reason, I put Wakana Kudo, instead of Wakana Kutsuzawa on her card. The stamps are already on it, so I can't change envelopes. I'm just gonna have to take it to work with me, and fix it there, because I'm too much of a moron to put the correct name on the card.

It's okay, we just want to hear from you once in a while to know that you're okay. People that care about you, tend to worry when said people know that you've been going through a lot of stuff, and then we don't hear from you at all for like, a really long time.
On another note, the appraisal is done and the house appraised for 98,500, with no repairs. They agreed to our offer of 92,000 and they are paying all closing costs, and forf our 1 year homed warranty. Our loan has been locked in for 4.0%, for thed duration of its lifetime. So, our rate will never go up.
We will be closing on the house on December 18th. *smiles* We are so excited, there's just no words for it.

There's lots of stuff to figure out. It's bad timing as far as moving goes because it's going to be difficult to find someone to help us move through the holidays....but I'm sure it will work out, just like everything else has been working out.
I get off at 2 or so tomomrrow, but I gotta go to the stupid lady doctor because people think I should see one. Especially since it's been like 5 or 6 years since my last visit...not sure how long exactly.
So, we already know who we're giving the furniture that we don't need to. A friend of ours from work, Levi. He and wife just finished building their house and they have like NO furniture at all. So, they'll help us remove some of the stuff in the house that we don't need, and then whatever else from the apartment that we don't want. The heavy as hell sleeper sofa and arm chair are going to habitat for humanity or whoever I can get to come take it. Henry and I can't lift it, like at all.
There's just so much stuff my head is still pretty much swimming. Right now I'm going to try and concentrate on packing the smaller stuff that we don't need and waiting till after we close to freak out about the rest. LOL

Great news about the house you two. As long as it's not a short sale, it should be pretty smooth.
I've really been throwing a lot of energy in my 2nd Ed Homebrew world/campaign. There were several parts I discussed with my Dad before he passed and I feel a need to actually finish a project for once.
It's not a short sale. I don't even know what that means lol.
We met the son and his wife when we were there for the inspection. We were there for over 4 hours, and they were just the nicest people. The son that we met, has the same birthday as Henry. I just sort of took it as a sign. It was his parent's house. He had lived there since he was 12, but the daddy passed away 6 years ago, and last year they decided to put her ijn a home because she was forgetting to take her medicine, not eating, and she had a couple really bad falls. So, they are trying to sell the house to help pay for her care.
The family already took what furniture they wanted, and Betty wouldn't let Jim take anything, so thed rest of the furniture stays.
