That was a long time ago and I'm more like crashing right now. I'm shaking my 3DS so I can get steps since I don't walk with it anywhere really.
We were out in the heat way too much today. We should have stayed in our cave.
I think we're like reverse grizzly bears, we prefer to hibernate in the summer and come out for the winter....oh wait, we have to actually live somewhere that gets a Winter first. *hmph*
Okay, it's sleepy time. Too much heat today and then wasn't smart in choice of dinner so it was a little too greasy for our heat sensitive tummies, but we gots to lay down cuz we tired and I have Sandy and six little ones....if some of them aren't sick, even if they are sick they'll be at school because people are stupid and don't know how to keep their sick kids at home. I know everyone has to work....but really...actually no, it doesn't look like half the people that drop these kids off even have jobs so I'm not sure that's completely accurate, but anyways....if they're vomiting or you have to give them Tylenol or Ibuprofen because they don't "feel good" then KEEP THEM HOME!
Anyways, I digress...I have six beautiful children whose parents are dumbasses that we need to love on and take care of tomorrow, and Henry has to deal with all the idiocy that is Wal-Mart tomorrow since no one else in that store seems to know how to do their damn job.
Actually, someone new took over the over night people and Henry and Myra actually had a chance to talk to him about the stuff the overnight crew had been pulling and it looks like he's not a total jerk wad and maybe willing to help get things back to how they're supposed to be so everything doesn't fall directly on Henry or Myra.
I'm actually really proud of my boobear for standing up for himself and talking to people about how things should be done so that it's not just him trying to do everything by himself. Way to go Baby! I love you!!

Well...she showed up, but I already had breakfast passed out and everything so it was okay. Someone came in to help me until the teachers picked up the three or four from their classes on top of the three that were already in there when I showed up at 7:30. Its okay, it's a four day week for us and we're going up to my parents place for the weekend since their 62nd anniversary is on the 30th, so whatever I work over will just be less PTO I have to use.

Soooo....had to work from 7:30 - 5 tonight since we're so short staffed. So glad I'm off Friday, but they're gonna make me work like a dog for it.

Well...just got a chance a bit ago to actually sit down at the computer and put my feet up, so I'm gonna watch it now. I have a feeling it's gonna make me feel all nostalgic and having me wanting to watch the original Ducktails again. *sigh* The remakes of things are just never quite as good....at least as far as my favorite childhood cartoons go anyways. I still watch cartoons sooo....now that I have netflix I don't have to give up my Saturday Morning Cartoons.
I liked the DuckTales reboot. It confirms that Talespin (meh) and Darkwing Duck (yay!) may exist in that continuity.
I don't know....I'm trying to give it an honest go....but I like the old one....though Henry is trying to make me understand that that was 30 years ago and those voice actors are no longer living....it was a major part of growing up for me. Come home from school, watch cartoon. I LOVED DuckTales and Darkwing Duck, I even kinda liked Talespin....I pretty much liked just about everything...though Scooby Doo scared me when I was a kid. I even liked Rainbow Brite...I mean come on.
I need some chicken salad and tostada.
I finally finished watching it...I'm just not sure how I feel about it. It's okay for what it is I guess?

@Arista: I was referring to the solar eclipse. I liked the cartoon actually made me laugh a few times.
*sigh* Henry has to keep telling me how old I'm turning in October cuz I keep forgetting. Also, it's my parent's 61st anniversary on the 30th when I was swearing up and down that it was their 62nd....I don't know. Sometimes I think I'm losing it too.

Like...people at work kept asking me how old I was and I kept saying 42, but I'm not yet. I don't know.....sometimes when they ask me, I have to actually stop and try to remember. Sometimes I don't think senility has anything to do with age....cuz lately I've been feeling pretty senile.
Bubba, we're sending something your way, but we can't send it till we're off on Friday cuz of conflicting hours...so it's late, but it is coming and we hope you like it. I'm trying to make sure it doesn't get all jacked up this time.

I'm hurting and I can't sleep, so I got up so I don't keep Henry awake. I ate a small sandwich so I could take some Ibuprofen....I guess I just need to wait for it to kick and drink some more water. I'll watch some netflix and see if I can't get some rest. Just two more days.

Didn't get off till 5:22, and we came to our favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner before doing all the laundry and packing and stuff.

Since I didn't get any of the stuff done I wanted to get done last night to get ready for our trip out to mom and dad's house, we're having to do everything today, plus finish up last minute stuff and packing up the car before we go. If we're very lucky we'll get out of the house before four o fracking clock.
I hate waking up in the middle of the night....no matter where I am, but I hate forgetting where I am when I first wake up.

I think I sorta did....it's just really hard for me to sleep up here. I have strange dreams when I do sleep.....the Lorazepam I took yesterday before we left helped a little bit I think....coming up here always makes me feel anxious and stuff and I was already stressing out over stuff before we ever left and Henry told me I was being annoying.....so I took one to try and calm down and relax. It didn't really work well though until I actually put food in my stomach and I forgot completely that I had taken one At all when it was time to switch and I took over driving in Bald Knob.
Anyways....I didn't bring any with me so I'm just gonna have to deal with stuff the best I can. After we get Ella her shots, we're gonna be picking up my aunt on our way back. Her birthday is the day before my parents anniversary and she's only six months younger than my mom, so she's turning 82 now too.
Sooo....I'm just gonna stop babbling now and find a place where I can charge my phone.

If we didn't have to worry about things like our jobs and being able to pay bills, have a place to live, you know....stuff like that, I'd stay in the country. Unfortunately I have no desire to be a chicken farmer, factory worker, or kill myself working in another nursing home....so I don't think that's ever gonna happen.
I miss the piece and quiet, but I don't miss the bugs and stuff. Oh well...
Got a queue of over 700 right now for a massive PPV, made it up to 2000 earlier. Will be a while before I post
Oh my.....no rest for the awesome. I really need to get some sleep, but it was a really emotionally charged day and I was out in the muggy air waaayyy too much today.
Don't worry too much about posting right away if you can't get to it you guys. My brain is kinda done in right now and I'm just trying to get myself settled down enough to get some kind of sleep.
Right now I'm just munching on Gardetto's and willing my tummy to calm down and stop doing whatever it's doing so I can get some rest at some point tonight. I also need to stop hearing that weird whooshing sound in my ears.
Sometimes I think there is just something horribly wrong with me.....

The wooshing sound in your ears is the sound of your blood flowing through them, usually only something you hear when it's too quiet.
I've been having lots of ear issues lately. Ringing, echoing, mostly just feeling stopped up and having general discomfort.
I'm just feeling like a general basket case lately anyways. Probably just my hormones or lack thereof, just like Sandy keeps telling me. I just feel jacked up, but it's probably "normal" so I just need to find a way to get over it and move on.
