Ah, my whole apartment smells like like roast pork stew. Everything is in the crock pot, but I filled it all the way to the rim.....so I had to take some out and finish it in the micro so we could eat before Henry has to go to work. I made seasoned garlic bread to go with it too.
YUMMY!!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE cooking yummy stuff. It makes me feel all warm and gooey inside. *sighs*
*laughs* Well, I'm gonna go eat my din din. I'll check posts and reply and stuff once I'm done. We should all pretty much be ready to head back to the fort in the morning. This is gonna be some kinda crazy all right. Can't wait to see what happens when we finally get back there and the duck hits the floor.
I don't think she's gonna let him mess this up. She is determined to show him that anyone is capable of redemption as long as they are willing to admit when they make a mistake. He already did the hard part, now he just has to get it together and realize that even after all is said and done that she isn't going anywhere and even he can be forgiven.
OH, I really don't think so. LOL You'll see dear elf, you'll see.
Sweet Arista is gonna give him a good ol' aura cleanse. We are gonna take all those nasty little feelings and turn them around. It's a process, just wait and see.
HEY HEY HEY! I'm eating jelly beans here, what are ya'll tryin to do? Make me choke? ROFLMAO
I think at this point we are pretty much primed for our triumphant return to the fort, are we not? Can't think of anything else that needs to be done except for making sure that everyone has their stuff together and are ready to go.
Well, I gotta get back to work on that baby blanket. It's not gonna sew itself. LOL Hope everyone has a good night/day and we will continue this later once everyone has had a chance to catch up and see what's going on.
Personally, I can't wait to see what happens next.

My condolences, Henry.
I do apologize for not posting yesterday. Though I was to take a sick day from work, lack of subs made it less of a burden on our staff as a whole to go in. That did mean I was rather out-of-it last night though.
And I just got up from my nap - posting soon.
You guys could have an pseudo out-of-game soap opera here!
Harakhty, sorry you haven't been feeling well. Know full well how that goes. I myself am doing a little better. Finished one of the steroid medications and the antibiotics. Still taking some other medication and drinking my teas. This bacterial infection is a stubborn SOB though. At least now I'm finally able to start getting some of this crap outta me when I'm coughing.
Just take care of yourself and make sure you get better. ;o)

My immune system is top-notch from being around kids who catch everything all the time, but when I get tired, then anything (and everything) in my system wants to creep up. Without a substitute though, many of the teachers would need to cover for my classes, and this means the caliber of what they would prepare would decrease. Many of our kids are at risk, and they need all the help they can get, so I went in anyway. I took a nap for 4 hours this afternoon, and I'm feeling okay now. Thanks for the well-wishes.
You sound like a very dedicated teacher and those kids are very lucky to have you. It's nice to know that there are still some teachers out there who truly care about what they do. I work in a hospital, but that doesn't seem to make a difference to my immune system. You are very fortunate. Just take care of yourself.
Skaar, if you want to handle your reintroduction to the group (you've never met Sadhana or Arista) and describe Godrick's exit, it'd be a good time for that.

Hospitals generally get the more resistant strains of things with higher frequency though - people do come in for that, after all. It's a shame more support isn't there for the staff which are around those dangerous diseases on a daily basis. I have a friend who was a nurse and was dismissed for needing to take too much sick time - from things he caught at work. Shameful.
It really is. The thing is, we are supposed to get so many sick days that we are allowed a year, but if we go over 5 we get fired. It's like we are being punished for doing our job. So, most of the time we work ourselves to near exhaustion for fear of being fired for being human. I'm using FMLA for mine. I learned not to take time off unless it's unavoidable, and when I do have to take time off I make sure now to get FMLA so that they can't do squat about my job. The only problem is, by the time it gets to the point that I actually consider going to a doctor and taking the time off, I end up with stuff like this bacterial bronchial infection.
