Don't watch basketball, football or baseball. I have minimal interest in the NHL, it kind of waned because of all the shutouts. The only other sporting event I like is F1 racing. Arista and I also watch that together.
Heh. Yeah I say I watch sports once every 4 years. I'm aware of the others because work weekends and they're always on, so I know what's going on in most sports peripherally.

I'm a baaaad baaaad girl.....in an effort to fix my speakers for the computer so that I can listen to all the links that people have been putting up...cuz till this point I wasn't able to, I somehow managed in my man handling of the computer, to dislodge the video card from the tower. Of course, I didn't realize that I had done this and had no idea how to fix it...I just knew the monitor wouldn't work. After trying my best to repair it myself, I was going to give up and use Henry's laptop...but, I couldn't find the mouse. After a while I gave up and panicked thinking that I had finally broken the ol' dinosaur for good and I went and woke up my poor poor Henry. He was a little...upset, but with his huge brain he figured out what the problem was and managed to fix it, along with my speakers.
I only got in a little trouble....and now I owe him a case of Baja Blast as my penance. So, now I can finally listen to the links...yea. I just feel really really bad that I woke him up. Now, everyone can see how tech friendly I most definitely am NOT. I promise honey never ever to touch anything in the back of the computer again. I love you

*hangs head* I told him I was sowwry. Now he still feels icky and I feel really bad about waking him up...but I panicked. I thought I had broken the computer for sure.

Arista decided to go pass out. Well, US beat Ghana, by luck and pluck.
Actually I think is was in defiance of an idiot coach who said they had no chance, days before their first game.

It was for me too.
Well, Ghana benched two of their star players and I don't think the Black Stars actually took the US seriously until that goal. Still, I haven't watched a lot of soccer, but the US team looked very sloppy in the first half with wild passes and general unawareness. It wasn't until around 70' that I noticed them improving somewhat.
First games are always interesting because a combination of a new venue, nerves and other minor datails usally make most teams play not as well as they can. The games keep getting better so you're in for a treat.

Yeah....so apparently I was REALLY tired because I passed out at 7:30pm and didn't wake up until 7:30am for about 12 hours of sleep. So, I'm awake now. LOL

I'm very proud of myself. I made a good breakfast of breakfast burrito with chorizo and eggs, with cheese, a dab of sour cream, and a little mild salsa. I had a glass of V8 splash with it and am now having some mango. Go healthy me!
Real food is pretty awesome when you have the time for it.

Yup yup....it's why I think I like your form of storytelling so much honey. There's not alot of convoluted craziness to it and in the end or at some point, the stuff that happens makes sense.
I try. It's hard, though, because we have nearly two hundred pages of posts and sometimes the relevant things are back on page 50 :P
