Androids and the undead

I just had yet another realization about the androids, and that is, being of humanoid type means they can be raised as undead. Now in my upcoming zombie/undead apocalypse campaign I really wanna a couple different variations at my players. Ideas include Terminator style skeletons, zombies with circuitry hang out of their wounds, and white noise looking ghosts. I was wondering what other ideas people might have.

Liberty's Edge

First thing that comes to mind for me are the Husks from Mass Effect.

banshees that speak in Leet maybe?, bodaks that spew computer code from their eyes.

Silver Crusade

I kind of see android skeletons not necessarily matching with human ones, with lots of plastic framing structures. Like if someone took a replica of a skeleton and added mannequin or crash test dummy scraps here and there.

Android pennangallans would be fun. Trailing wires and a completely modular way of linking back up with their bodies.

Android banshees...remember ever putting a CD with data meant for computers or game consoles in a CD player and hearing that painful buzz? Or really just any discordant electronic noise. Android banshess turn that up to 11 and actually glitch the connection between their victims' body and soul.

Oh hell yes. Complete with jittering and flickering movement.

brainiac looking liches, and demilich mainframes.

I can picture an android revenant that is motivated by some sort of "equalizer" programing. is it me or do juju zombies seem like a logical resurrection for such a intelligence driven race. hmmm vampire ideas anyone? i think a vetela android would be neat.

For some intelligent ones look at the deathlock marvel character, it's a program that shares the body with the original soul

ok, for some reason android gunslinger plus graveknight makes me think of robocop.

been thinking ALOT about android vampires lately. though I did think of Shadow androids as silhouettes that have a subtle flicker of computer code if you look carefully enough.

Android plague zombies.

Hah, maybe I'll, make the the source of the plague. A byproduct of the cybernetics and disease meshing perhaps? "evil chuckle" (rubs hands together)

It has to be a virus.

that'll work, in my upcoming game i have all the zombies retain at least one "special" trait from the original species, so i am keeping the constructed traits as well as the nanite surge.

Gives a whole new meaning to zombie virus.

Corporeal undead android with create spawn = Borg

In Farcry 3 Blood Dragon you occasionally come across skeletized cyborg corpses. They look like less deliberately evil terminators. Also they don't have teeth.

I think an Android Ghost would look a lot like that chick from The Ring.
