Maybe this has been asked before, but any thoughts on how we can put permalinks in the Google Drive? Since this is such a good one-stop shop for helpful PFS GMing material, is there a way to share links to pages, videos, etc.?
I just created a video showing how I used Purple Fluffy CatBunnyGnome's idea of using gridded easel pad sheets to make maps before the game, and added a way to create overlays for area spell effects and what not. I added a chart to the Night March of Kalkamedes for gathering PC info (such as certain knowledge checks, languages, certain parts of armor class, etc).
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to put the Google doc into the shared folder (I tried the "move" option from two different buttons/menus, but it never allowed anything but my own drive as a place to move it to).
So I downloaded my own chart as a PDF, then re-uploaded that into the shared drive. :/

Question PFCBG: Do you backup regularly? I opened it tonight, and my browser was having issues, and for a second or three I thought someone had screwed up something and season 0-1 was missing along with some of the other folders. It got me to thinking that I really hope this gets backed up regularly, as it'd be a crying shame to lose things.

I added a time-tracker for #4-21: Way of the Kirin. If your party decides to split the workload, I figure this is a good way to see who is available and who isn't at a given time.
well since lost of Gm's should be checking this tread I'd like to ask how do I post images on this site? I started a play by post campaign and would like to post the map. Is it not possible?

It should be possible to post images, however, if it's specifically for a pbp, I would ask that you create a folder entitled PBP Map -- or whatever kind of image it is, so that it doesn't get confused with table maps.

Hey, I was trying to enter certain pregenerated goblins for next weekend into PC Gen, and they weren't co-operating (for example, the rogue is listed with 26 HP, but he should either have 27 or one additional skill point.) Anyone else tried entereing them? I figured the character sheet would be easier than the statblock.

Hello. I have something to upload but don't know how to do it. I've been prepping the Shore to Sea module, and I found this web bonus, and thought it would be nice to add to the shared prep.
Also, I did some photoshop work on the maps for Shore to Sea to remove the key/markings/hints so that they can be given to the players... are we allowed to upload them? I feel like this is iffy gray area since they are just modified versions of paizo stuff. Do we have a ruling on this?

Shaper, on the left hand side of the screen you should see a red button. Click the upward pointing arrow and you should get an upload dialogue box. You must be signed in to Google and make sure you are in the folder you want to upload to.
Uploaded the faction handouts and an editable chronicle sheet for Way of the Kirin from my Roll20 game. Wasn't sure if the NPC head shots are available for community use yet. Let me know if the chronicle shouldn't be there either.

I have had similar problems entering them into Hero Lab. I can't get the fighter's Stealth skill right, the rogue's AC is one off and yes he has a skill point left. the cleric's stealth is either +8 or +12 not what is listed as +9 and the alchemist's stealth is either 16 or 12 not the required 15.
I'll keep checking it but I may have to change the sheets by hand before handing them out.

Also, if that isn't it, and you have to match the printed version, go to the Personal tab and add adjustments as needed.

I just added a document that lists information GMs might want from players before the game starts - it's called Player Stat Index Cards and it's in Helpful Resources. There are two pages, and they are meant to be printed double-sided (side 1 is page 1 with saves, AC, etc., and side 2 is page 2 with knowledge modifiers).
I know there are a couple of somewhat similar things already there, but I figure more choice for GMs is better. Maybe we want to consider a subfolder with these kinds of resources so they are easier to spot?

I noted yesterday that one of my files was missing (GM scenario prep checklist) and it wasn't in my bin (so it wasn't me). I have restored from the old original, but any online changes made may have been lost (I remembered a couple).
I don't know if any other files have been accidentally deleted. Do we have an offline index?

One of my goals after Paizocon is to go through and try to organize and clean the shared drive up a bit as well as the backups ... so hopefully things will be better organized and we'll have a better idea of where things go and what is there.
As for the offline list, people are adding things all the time, so I don't see where an offline list of things is going to be feasible, however, if that is something you think we need and you want to work on and keep it updated please feel free.

Added some custom maps for 01 - Silent Tide. Also a form fillable PDF chornicle sheet with the current chornicle format and correct slow progression gold amount.
These can be printed, but are intitially intended for VTT use.
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe the chronicle sheets are freely distributable.
Mark Moreland mentioned a related, but not identical issue here.
(While the chronicle sheets do not contain a watermark, they do contain a trademarked Paizo logo and use Paizo's trade dress and thus I believe violate the community use policy.)
I went ahead and removed the chronicle sheet. Please be careful with what gets added here.

On another note... it seems the Helpful Resources folder was ransacked and someone took instead of borrowed. If you have anything gleaned or that you added please email to me in the original post. Real life has been such that I haven't had a chance to do a back up like I needed to do

Hey all..
I've backed up and revamped the shared drive. The shared drive now has it's own home at PFSSharedGMPrep@gmail.com, which means there is also a new link for the shared drive. I also have a nice shiney new readme :)
In backing this up I can say two things
A: Some of you are true animals with uploading things
B: This has grown bigger than I ever thought it would and realize that one person cannot manage this thing alone.
With the thought that more than one person needs to be working on this, I'm hoping that there are 2 or 3 of you out there that are good with google drive/doc stuff that would be willing to help me out in maintaining the shared drive. If you want to help, please PM me here on the boards or email me at PFSSharedGMPrep@gmail.com :)

I updated one of my files, so I deleted the old version off the shared drive and tried to upload the new version and received the message, "You don't have permission to add items to this folder." Not sure what's up with that. So, for now I pulled the old version out of the trash and restored it.

Ok, well it seems to be working on and off. I am unable to load the file to folder #4-24, but I successfully added it to both #4-23 and #4-25 (and deleted it after). I tried downloading it to a couple of other folders and got no response at all. No error message and no uploaded file. I'm not sure what's going on.
