white haired witch's rogue talents

Rules Questions

Someone pointed out this archtype on the other thread and when looking it over I saw they get rogue talents at 10+. My question is specifically about improved evasion but can apply equally to any talent that has a prerequisite or a lesser version : can the witch take improved evasion at her first opportunity and get the full effect or wold she have to take it twice with the first time acting as regular evasion?

If an ability has a prerequisite, then unless there's special text saying otherwise, you have to fulfill the prerequisite before you're eligible to take the ability. With that said, Improved Evasion doesn't have a prerequisite of Evasion... but see below.

Edit: Keep in mind that you don't get to take any rogue Advanced Talents until level 18+ as a White-haired Witch.

Honestly I think a White Haired Witch would be better off getting into a PRC with full caster levels at level 10+.

Hell Knight Signifier I'm looking at you.

I honestly think a WHW should just be a normal witch and use Prehensile Hair and the 3rd level spell that lets you attack with your hair rather than being a WHW in the first place.
