I just registered an account under your name. I will send you the login details. You should be able to change your username, password, e-mail, and timezone as desired without a captia I think. If not let me know and I'll either change them myself or harp at Valinar and see if he can find a way to add an audio component to it.
Just so you know... EVE is Evil! =)

Now I want to go log on and kill some "rats." BBL.
LOL I have only been playing for 3 days and I am having a good time... granted I am not engaging in PVP yet. I am sure I will sooner or later though...

If you go PVPing we should put a group together and go kill some pirates. Solo PVP as a newb is suicidal unless you are RPKing miners and such. But a few of us working together would be a formidable force even if we all went in frigates.

Or at least a battlecruiser or stealth bomber.
I call frigates "manned drones." ^_~
Drakhan Valane wrote: I call frigates "manned drones." ^_~ Hey I resemble that remark... well for now anyways.

Basically what I'm saying is the only frigate skills I don't have maxed are Advanced Drone Interfacing (4) and Fighter-Bombers (3).

Wow GenCon I have not been there since 98 or 99, back when I was still working for White Wolf publishing. And then I was there to work. Had a blast though with Rich Dansky during that last trip. Came home with lots of swag =). The first and last Gencon I attended was GenCon 18 which if I remember was in 1984 or 85. I won a raffle and the prize was to have dinner with Tracy Hickman, His Wife Laura, Margaret Weiss, Douglas Niles, and a few other Dragonlance team members. I was also invited to meet with Gary Gygax, nd I sat next to his daughter, Heather (if I remebre her name correctly). It was an incredible experience for me, at age 17 or 18. It was my first trip away from home, and to Milwaukee, Wiscounsin.
I have been to a few.. both in Milwaukee and Indianapolis. My first one I attended I was as a TSRO and hung out with all the TSRO from AOL that attended along with Sean Reynolds and the TSR crew. We even had the honor of going to the TSR office and hanging out for a couple of hours. My handle at TSR's AOL area was TSRO Sharz.
I plan on going this year with my Baltimore gaming group. I am saving up the money right now for all the dice I will buy! =)

I used to live in Baltimore County. Small world.
I would have to say yes it is! I have been in Fort Lauderdale for around 5 years now.

I grew up in Mt. Airy. Then I lived in Cockeysville for about a year before I joined the Navy. Once my wife gets out of the Air Force, We're moving to the Seattle area (Maybe I can get a job with Paizo? One can dream.) since she's from Washington.
Very coo! Never been to Washington state... I would like to someday though!

Slowing saving up towards going to Gencon one day. So far, the Cons I've made it to are Kublacon (the Khan of Cons!) and Pacificon. Got in 12 games of pathfinder at Kubla last year, that was crazy.
I went to Gencon with a group of high school friends. That was an interesting trip...four 16-17 year-olds driving all the way from Marquette, MI, to the convention and staying in one small motel room for several days.
I plan to go to GenCon, as well as PaizoCon, so if there is a TEO meet up at either Con (or both), I will make every effort to be there (depending on scheduling).
Okay TEO members, it's now time to go shake the bushes. I'm going to give myself a 'at least one new PfO recruit' goal between now and the end of KS. I'll post back here on my success of failure to hold myself accountable.
Let's get this KS funded!!
Anyone else in on the challenge?
I personally really want to get our tavern funded. Not only will we have a tavern but that's 5000$ more to the kickstarter.

As much as I would love to help, the problem is that Project Eternity and Star Citizen have already drained me. I was surprised I could afford to fund PFO over the holidays, but I scrounged around a bit. The PDFs and minis alone make it worthwhile. This will be the last game I pledge for for the next 2 years (of course I said that after SC too).
Greetings Andius. My fellow Warden of Gold, Hroderich Gottfrei, has already reached out to you I believe with regard to forming closer ties with the Keepers of the Circle. I wanted to further note that should the need arise our Keepers of the Circle Chancery is now open for any foreign envoys that might wish to parlay with us.

WE NOW OWN TAVERN NUMBER SIX!!! TEO HAS A TAVERN!!!
HUZZAH!!!
HUZZAH!!!
HUZZAH!!!
Yeah.
let the festivities begin.
let there be ale.

/nerd hat off Very well, sir. You've clearly out-nerded me.
The name and layout is to be voted on later.

Woot!!! That is so awesome fellow Teoites! (Or is it Teotians?) :)
I might have to buy a Brewmaster's Special now just get to name an ale for it! Should it have thirteen tables with thirteen irregularly spaced columns? ;)
Huzzah! ^.^ Our new home of drunk do-gooders!
I will donate some for the Tavern -- but it will have to wait until later in January.

Yes, some nice home-brew and steak sandwiches. That'd be awesome!
My planned alt is now too fitting...
If our tavern is somewhere accessible to all, we could make the inside of it 'accorded' neutral ground. If it is possible to simply make violence impossible within it, that would be an easy way to do things, but if not, perhaps we could get guards that cast a hold spell on anyone who is criminal-flagged. People of widely different alignments and allegiances could then meet diplomatically.

First, there's no such thing as 'too much' reading or 'too much' Dresden Files. :P
Second, yeah, we've been talking about that for a few posts now, nice of you to join us! ;)
What do you think of making our tavern a place where allies and enemies alike can meet in peace? The Knights of Iomedae are Good and the Hellknights are often Evil, but both are Lawful and would prefer to keep order along the Crusader Road. To do that, there will need to be places where they can meet diplomatically without a chaotic fight breaking out.
+1 for naming the tavern after Mac's, this just so happened to remind me I have his latest book laying around that I haven't started, seems like a good time for that now :).

Love the series, would love to get a bit of Mac's bar going in the River Kingdoms.
I realise I'm quite late to the party as it were, but I've been mulling things over.
My original intent was to create a halfling rogue type character, but seeing as that will most likely be further down the line, I rather fancy the idea of a Good human fighter.
Daft question, but if I were to join TEO, would all my characters have to be members, or would I be allowed to just have one, and let my other characters do their own thing?
Metallix Brother wrote: Daft question, but if I were to join TEO, would all my characters have to be members, or would I be allowed to just have one, and let my other characters do their own thing? No, you don't have to have all characters as members, but it is encouraged (unless you want the others to be evil or some such). If all your characters are members, we don't have to worry about split loyalty, but we can't enforce it since it sounds like you'll be able to make them pretty anonymous.

As I say, I don't imagine it's terribly likely any of my characters will outright wander into evil territory, but I can certainly imagine a rogue or such trending towards neutral.

It's an anachronistic reference to someone else's intellectual property, and no one would pronounce it right.
McAnally's Pub
It's 'Mack-an-alleys' but people would say 'Mick-anal-ees'.

Someone should call Jim and see if he'd pitch in to help fund the game!
Hey, jut tried to login and got error messages, is the Guild site down, did it move, did I miss a post with info? I just got back from being out of town for a while. . .
The page hasn't moved. It looks like there's a database issue. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
