That sounds pretty decent. As I say, I don't imagine it's terribly likely any of my characters will outright wander into evil territory, but I can certainly imagine a rogue or such trending towards neutral. ![]()
I realise I'm quite late to the party as it were, but I've been mulling things over. My original intent was to create a halfling rogue type character, but seeing as that will most likely be further down the line, I rather fancy the idea of a Good human fighter. Daft question, but if I were to join TEO, would all my characters have to be members, or would I be allowed to just have one, and let my other characters do their own thing? ![]()
My concern, as posted on the latest update on the Kickstarter, is that 10K is double the highest tier reward on the Tech Demo Kickstarter, and only one person went for that. My worry is that, especially for something that at least appears to the uninitiated as niche, there really is not much by way of dragging people into the game. Of course, I know they've got other ideas up their sleeves, and we've got just over a month to pull this off. But I think that something that has a more broad interest at the lower levels might be wise. The vast bulk of funding on the previous Kickstarter was generated at the $15, $50 and $100 tiers. At the moment, the $100 tier is carrying a large amount of the weight, whereas the $35 tier just isn't generating that much interest in comparison. Even then, the numbers as they are, we have to generate an awful lot more people joining this Kickstarter and a multitude of tiers to pull this off. ![]()
A friend of mine wishes to create a human urban ranger, which would definitely be useful to the party, as we currently lack anyone with the ability to disarm magical traps, and the general features of that archetype suit him quite nicely. However, I have come across a bit of a snag; I've heard various people saying that picking you can't pick your own type (or subtype) without having an alignment of evil. That said, I can't seem to find that anywhere in my pathfinder core rule book. Have I missed something? Thank you in advance! ![]()

I hate to tell you this, Richard, but you should've ponied up the $50; Goblinworks factored in international shipping into the pledges. ![]()
I've very recently introduced a friend to the joys of tabletop RPing, and he seems to have enjoyed it thus far. However, the type of character he would be interested in playing would be very much in the back line of combat, helping the party in either social environments and/or improving equipment/items. However, I'm also fairly new to Pathfinder myself, and I've looked through various variants of classes, but I can't think of a particular build that would really reflect that. We're currently playing Curse of the Crimson Throne, and the party is lvl 5. |
