Hey all,
I have decided to create a pathfinder IRC channel on quakenet.
Channel: #Pathfinder-Online
Server: Quakenet
You can either download an irc client (like mIRC) or use the webversion (http://webchat.quakenet.org/)
I am also in the progress of making a fansite. When I have more info about it I will let people know

The developers of DUST 514 hang out in an IRC channel created by one of the beta testers, and it has helped the community and development in general quite a bit so I definitely recommend the same thing happen with PFO. iirc the creator of the channel gave all of the devs mod access along with one other beta tester, and there's always multiple people with either mod or creator rights hanging out in there. Lots of good real time discussion has happened in there, and many times small announcements that might not warrant a whole dev blog or post on a forum happen in there and that keeps the community involved. They don't really crowdforge beyond the standard feedback forum though, so the result might be different with PFO. Whether it would be better or not as good though I can only guess.

This is actually my first time seeing this thread. I'm much more likely to pop into a text chat than a voice chat. Not out of personal distaste, but as someone who comes and goes from the PC a lot and has to deal with smaller children (with big voices) at home, it is very convenient. I may check this out in the days ahead.
