Character advice, please

Without spoiling the actual creatures involved, could anyone suggest any languages for my character to take? I hate the experience of picking a bunch of loser languages. (I cleared this question with my GM before posting.)

Also, are all of the families listed under the Alabaster Outcast trait of Chelish human descent?

Giants are a common enemy in Varisia, so thats a good language to pick without metagaming.

They don't have to be of Chelish descent. I think the trait gives you the wiggle room. Heck, they could be Ulfen if you wanted.
