More goes up tonight (or tomorrow if my home game/playtest goes late) on the website but a sneak to get you ready.

PFS WF Scheduled events

Exclusive Pathfinder Society Special – Written by Jason Bulmahn himself. If you liked the LG Specials in the day you’ll want to get your ticket for this sooner rather than later.

Intro 1: First Steps: In Service to Lore
Intro 2: First Steps: To Delve the Dungeon Deep
Intro 3: First Steps: A Vision of Betrayal
3-EX Cyphermage
4-01 Rise of the Goblin Guild
4-05 The Sanos Abduction
4-06 The Green Market
4-07 Severing Ties
4-08 The Cultist's Kiss
4-09 The Blakros Matrimony
4-10 Feast of Sigils
4-11 The Disappeared
4-12 The Refuge of Time

That should be enough to keep peeps happy for a day or three.

Not happy till I know if I'm accepted as a GM, and what I'm running.

Don't make me throw a Purple Fluffy CatBunnyGnome at you!

Ruefully laughs at the volunteers who threw themselves into GMing for the whole shebang. As I recall, the last PFS scenario that JB wrote was The Rebel's Ransom, this one should be awesome! I think I smell CareBaird's mind smoking as he considers abandoning TwilightKnight at Winter War.

Your a VC I'm going to accept you as a PFS judge (I use quality peeps I don't toss them away - your mine buddy). I just need to get registration rolling then I'll roll back around and get judges their schedules (you should have a schedule 2 months out frmo the show - not to shabby I think).

I'm not going to abandon BobBob to run it at WF. I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunity to run it future conventions.

David,

What about the rest of us?

My worry (and that of some others) is that regestration will open, then we will find out that we did not get picked to judge and by that point a lot of PFS events will be sold out leaving us, well..... screwed.

With as fast as PFS events sell out at large cons, this is a real worry for some of us.

And thats great, 2 moths out to know what we are running is awesome, but will be know if we are judges at all, and if so at what level, before reg opens?

Thanks for the info.

Can I assume you'll enlist my help to run this?

Folks,

I just wanted to drop in here and make a note that while certain aspects of the Winter Fantasy Special (such as the fact that Jason himself will be running it) will be "exclusive" to Winter Fantasy, there _will_ be other opportunities later in the year for people to play the adventure content as an official PFS game.

The rewards might be a little different, the actual physical experience might be different, but the adventure itself will be played elsewhere eventually.

Specific plans for the adventure, such as what it will be called and when Jason will write the sequel, have yet to be determined, so please be patient with us while we work out the details on what is sure to become a hugely important event for the Pathfinder Society.

Well piddlespot, there goes my schadenfreude.

Silver Crusade 5/5

Is it Special like Race for the Runecarved Key Special, or Special like Cyphermage special?

AKA everyone in the room is playing it simultaneously or one table at a time?

I go as fast as I can good sir. I had a week hospital stay (after 20 years of not even needing a doctor once) collide with starting a new job. I am sure I will use you as a judge and can find something for your shorter half to do as well.

Because you're the most dangerous person I have to throw! Oh, and you weren't dragged, you were thrown into this!

Careful or I'll go in and retroactively report your paladin as dead and unplayable.

Yes, I know you'll say "Well I'm a VC and I can fix that." Let's take bets on who would ultimately win that battle.

I'm not fooled by your shape shifting powers!

@Kyle
Go ahead. Not like I use him...it'd probably be months before I noticed anyways. Probably at the earliest I'd notice is during Winter Fantasy...maybe Gencon...

Ah as VC my spot is secure then.

I am still on the fence about GM'ing or playing. How vacant is the GM pool at this point?

Grand Lodge 4/5

Nice, 13 different scenarios. Good to see you are offering a variety.

Silver Crusade 5/5

I just got my schedule. Going to get to know Jason's new scenario real well. I'm running it 7 times.

Chris Bonnet wrote:

Do both. The show has 12 slots. You only need to judge 5 for a free room. You'll be focused in on a group of 3 mods for those 7 slots. So pick a group of 3 you've run/played already then play 5 other things in the off slots. Best of both worlds.

Silver Crusade 5/5

Is there a rough ETA on when the JB Special will be ready for reading? Just want to work enough prep time into my schedule. For example, knowing I'm getting it the weekend before the con Gencon style means I'd want to clear that weekend out.

The Exchange

Awesome! I haven't played ANY of those!

Same here...figuring I'll get some time to at least read my scenarios this weekend.

I have no timeframe on it yet. It's that new of an idea/endeavor (as Erik pointed out). There are lots of cool ideas floating around on it so I am excited to see what sticks and things start firmming up a bit more so I can pass details on (most of those details outside of blurb and title will be on the judge list just FYI).

Dave, a typeo "5 for a free room"? If not, I might be able to swing that. I can't get down there for all four days.

5/5

5 does seem like a typo.

I think the website says 7.

Bwah! How did that happen? Was it your gnome-ness? Or the threat of throwing PFCBG, in her human disguise?

Guess I'll just have to play it, and make you cry :)

Yeah, I know, Doug told me the story when he ran Cyphermage Dilemma for us. :) We had also played that Module, so we knew what he was talking about.
