We drink a lot of different beers, usually whatever someone brings. And we have players with diverse interests in beer. Optimator is common, Red Stripe, Leinenkugels (various), Sam Adams, local microbrews like Ale Asylum and Great Dane...
Friends also bring their home-made mead and jalapeño cordials.

Almost anything sold in an American gas station or Walmart, Aberzombie.
In WI you can get New Glaurus at the gas stations. I always pick some up when passing through, I can usually trade it for 2-3 times its value once I'm a state or two away. The Spotted Cow is really good and they make the best framboise/lambic I've had (not that I'm an expert on the style).

If you're in WI, I recommend Valkyrie Brewery—I'm looking forward to trying their War Hammer when I visit home in December. (Though it looks like some of their other seasonal beers, like the Berserker Barleywine, went away when they rebranded from Viking Brewery, alas!)
And except for Louisiana, where gas stations at least sell some Abita beer, and Walmarts (at least the last one I was at) sell Abita, Sam Adams, and a host of other decent beers.
Also, I've found some decent beers in Virginia gas stations. Or was that a CVS....?

I lived in Louisiana a few years... never did develop a taste for Abita beer.
I did like being able to pick up liquor at any grocery store - a big change from were I grew up in Oregon and where I live in Idaho where liquor has to be bought at liquor stores, and they all close early.

I think some of their beers are definitely an aquired taste. I've never been overly fond of their Satsuma beer, Wheat beer, Andygator, Abbey Ale, or Abita Light. I've never had Abita Golden or their Pecan beer.
Most of their other stuff I like, with my favorites being their Strawberry Harvest Lager and Turbodog. Their 25th anniversary beer kicked ass as well.| Caineach |
Depends on whose house it is, and booze doesn't come out every game. Players tend to like when it does because it means more loot, especially with the low alcohol tollerance from 1 GM.
Homebrew was not uncommon when I have something ready. I haven't brewed nearly enough recently.
Saranac's samplers are the 12 packs of choice. They are local here in Upstate NY, in the right price range, and large enough scale to be found pretty much everywhere.
Various hard liquors are not uncommon. I keep my GM's bar well stocked.

The GrumpyGM drinks
Arrogant Bastard Ale
Good call!
I'd be remiss if I didn't plug my favorite Colorado ale Laughing Lab Scottish Ale
I'm also fond of Myrcenary, but at 9.3% ABV it will let you know you drinking something with a bit of kick.
I love the huge amount choice in craft brews here in Colorado.
