I believe we cannot start until Outpost officially begins in March. I may be able to post some non-scenario lead up before that however. I have raised the question in the Outpost thread.

Edit: Confirmed. I will set up the gameplay thread soon, and once you have completed any prescenario purchases, I will post a lead-in before the briefing starts.

Just checking, are we kicking off the scenario early, or are we waiting for the start of the GameDay on 5 March?

Sorry, I took Thoriel out of the immediate scene thinking it was a sort of prelude and that we would reconvene in a couple of weeks real time and game time ie. that the rendezvous at the theatre was a date in the near future.

Happy to bring her back into the scene if we are actually progressing to the main briefing now, though.

Hmm. I guess I better mention two trips I have pending. I do not travel all that much but March 8-17 I'll be on a ski trip to Banff. I'll have my phone and can post some but will not have a laptop. My company does not want me to carry it outside the US. They are funny about that, and since it belongs to them I guess I have to listen.

And then March 28 I leave for two weeks in China. Same no laptop but will have internet and a phone. Might have a tablet too for this trip. I should be able to keep up but my posts might be shorter and I'll likely miss some days on travel days. Of course botting is fine and I'll try to add some botting instructions to my profile.

First off, I owe you all an apology. I switched schedules from nights to days over the weekend and it ruined my evenings for getting anything done.

Still, that doesn't excuse a week absence, even if we are not officially started. I will be devoting my evening to getting my PbPs updated and rolling again and intend to make sure this is the last unexplained silence and that any future breaks are much shorter.

Thank you for your patience and I'm looking forward to getting into the meat next week.

Wasn't worried because again, doesn't start for 4 more days. If there was problem I'd bug you, we talk often. I just thought I'd re-initiate gabbing in the IC thread in the lead-up to the 5th.

No, just playing along with the fact that she sort of wandered off on her own in the intro. Sorry, thought this was all fun pre-scenario stuff to keep us entertained while we waited for the GameDay to start.

If it going to cost her real money then no I guess I'll just retcon it in so she went along with the group, or could she have been teleported over by one of the VCs earlier? Pathfinders seem to pop up all over the world where they are needed.

Not trying to be difficult just playing along in character as Thoriel is a bit self-focussed. Happy to go with what you suggest and sorry if it has caused any problems.

So, I was going through my character sheet, including chronicles and my inventory and I saw that I had upgraded my armor with the spell-storing property but I didn't have that on my character sheet here. I made the change but I thought I would let you know. Would it be alright for me to have a touch spell stored on it already? I was thinking excruciating deformation since its on my list.

I think technically you would have to cast it at the start of the scenario since spells don't transfer between scenarios, and while we started in the lodge, the scenario starts with meeting Basia in the theater. I am a little unclear about the guidelines for this in the guide, however.

So it may work, it works better of you had an unused charge from a previous senario. Though depending on the gm they may not find this particular FAQ applicable.

It's a lot of rules minutia, but I don't think it's so big a deal. Go ahead and count it as having been cast into the armor, and we'll see if it even matters by the end of the scenario.

Yeah, I don't really enjoy wading too deeply into rule minutia myself. And I'm not really worried about the spell slot. I mostly wanted to let you know because it was an update that wasn't on my character when I first posted.

Seldiliel knows that it is somewhere to the right side of the building, but can't tell if it is hidden by walls or illusion magic or just simple stealth.

Another trip...

I leave for New York City around noon tomorrow and from there will leave for 11 days in China on Wednesday. I will be back late on Saturday April 7 and begin to catch up on April 8th. And yes I know I just got back from a trip.

I will have an iPad with me (better than posting from a phone) and should have internet most of the time but there are three days that are remote so I am almost sure I will not have internet all the time. I will do my best to post some but please both me instead of waiting for me. This is my last trip longer than a long weekend I have planned for the entire year.
