I have been trying to figure out how members of the Pathfinder Society identify themselves to each other in-universe. I have so far been unsuccessful. I turn now to you all in my time of need and request your aid in my quest.
Also, if you happen to know which book I could find your answer in, I would appreciate it. I am trying to make sure I have said book available for my GM's approval.

Pathfinder's Journal, Pathfinder Adventures #13, "Fear in a Handful of Dust":
I struggled for a moment to remember the formal greetings between Pathfinders. The three orcs around me remained stooped in a bow. "For the glory of the Pathfinders, the Will of Ten, and the memory of Durvin Gest," I said, "I, Eando Kline, thank you for your welcome."

In game let's see... 4-7 people come into my bar. They stick together and talk to one another so they're a group and know each other. Are well groomed, clean, have some nice weapons, so well off (rich). One or two are kinda freaky(1/2 orc, halfling, gnome, aasimar, tiefling...). <wipe out some tankards> They don't balk when I ask for a silver for ale. Hmmm... probably Pathfinders or petty nobles with that racial variety. Not Aspis as they didn't hustle me for protection or free drinks. Hmmm... let me get my daughter out here before one of the drunk doxies gets to them...

In most areas of the world.....
.... Rarely.
Seeing things like "PATHFINDER GO HOME" written in blood tend to give you the idea that flaunting your nature isn't a pro-survival move in a lot of cases. The Grand Lodge in Absalom is the only openly Pathfinder Lodge, all the rest tend to keep a low profile.
