I'd like to see boxes for bestiary 2 and 3, but I also want (nay, need), tokens for the ARG races like Catfolk, tengu and the like.
Bestiary 2 has been announced for August. And there is one Tengu in the Bestiary Box.... but yeah, it would be nice to have more of them.
Getting ARG races may be easier if they ever make NPC Codex 2, with other classes & races, and an accompanying Pawn Set. Unless of course those races appear in an AP (like Jade Regent).

My ideas for Pawn boxsets:
Characters: All the Iconics as well as the various characters from the NPC Codex, Core Books, and various Adventures. There's probably enough to make two or three boxes of this.
Hordes: Mini-sets with multiple copies (about 6-10 each should do) of Goblins, Orcs, Mites, and other humanoid enemies or monsters, as well as variations that have appeared in rule and adventure books like shamans and monster riders.
Regional Beasts: An extension of the Bestiary sets that includes monsters introduced in the Adventure Paths and other supplemental works.

There is an NPC Codex pawn set available for preorder that includes all of the iconics that had profiles in that book here.
Also, I think they plan on releasing pawn sets for the adventure paths from Skull and Shackles forward. I'm looking forward to Shattered Star.

An ARG pawn set would actually be awesome. A resource for various PC and NPC pawns of all these races is certainly useful. You could include the illustrations in the book as well as some from other sources where the races previously appeared (like their bestiary entries or the dragon empires gazetteer)
It could also include the races and illustrations from the race builder section.

We actually just used some of the pawns the other day (I was late to the game).
They were "ok". Normally we just use numbered poker chips & wood/cardboard blocks. Why? Because I can now say "I hit orc #1" or something like that.
It's why we stopped using minis for all but boss monsters
And that's the problem - the artwork on the sets is great. There just aren't enough of each critter, not enough in the right sizes, and they aren't numbered, so how is the DM to keep track of (in the case of an APG coven) which witch is which?
My suggestion is to focus more effort to sell bases of the different sizes, blank cardboard sheets, and good scalable jpgs/pdfs (not all battle maps use the same scale).
This way if I want to print up my own orc horde I can.
Just my $0.02

What I'd like to see is all the characters from the web fiction thus far, one per sheet, and not a lot of multiples. I got the NPC Codex, and while it was nice to see Fren from Robert Vardeman's "Plow and Sword" getting some use as the Beggar, I generally don't think of a kid with a hoe as a beggar, and while I might want six beggars, I'd prefer them to all look like individuals. Admittedly my anthropocentrism showing here, but while I'm fine with one giant wasp looking just like another one, and even ghouls being somewhat interchangeable, I'd rather the beggars not look like a chorus line of clones. And maybe some female beggars?

I like the colored base idea. What I would like to see is blank sets of all size categories released. If this is done it would be great to do the print out monster on sticker and stick to a blank pawn. It would be even better to release the blank sticker pack for the pawns and a OpenOffice/Word template for them.

Black people..... No seriously! There's hardly any black people and the few they have are all dressed in European fashions. It's kind of disheartening.
I don't know all of Golarian, but is there a region that they would dress differently? If there is there should be some pawns that have them dress to that region. I can see some barbarian types dressed like aborigines from Australia. I could see some Fighters dressed like the African warriors. Wizards with light silk robes. I only see those types of dress in a hot desert type climate. I would think that they would don warmer types of European clothes in those environments.

Well bases are now on sale by themselves and the Pawns have pdfs. Also the repeated critters have different color framing the number to help separate them. True, across the table it might be hard to see but it what they did to separate them BUT a round sticker could be put on the base (I don't mean under it.) with a number on it.
As for blank cardboard sheets, doubt it but I really don't think it be that hard to do on your own. There is stuff at the local craft store that can be used. Print, zacto knife and glue stick.

Erik Mona wrote:Then try a 'Dragon set,' 'abberation set,' 'Fiendish set,' etc... You make good points, but you can always break something like that up.An Oversized Monster Box is indeed a great idea, but it'd also be very likely to be quite expensive. As far as costs are concerned, most are tied to the number of "sheets" in a set. The fewer creatures that fit on a single sheet, the more sheets you need to make the set worthwhile. The more sheets you have, the more expensive the product's got to be.
Think about how many creatures of Gargantuan or Colossal you'd need to pull off a truly satisfying collection. Then think about how many sheets it would take at the current size to cover them. Think about the retail price of that collection relative to the ones we're currently offering.
So yeah, it's a good idea, but ouch.
+1 this!
This was exactly my first thought - I would buy a dragon supplement for gargantuan and collossal - or a beast set etc.

I'd love to see them make a pawn collection involving the artwork from Advanced Race Guide and the Inner Sea Bestiary - perhaps both of them into one. I think it would sell really well given the artwork and the supplemental need for additional racial figures. Tragically enough, this is probably some of the most beautiful artwork Pathfinder has put out and it likely won't become a pawn collection any time soon.
I also would love to see the Rabbit prince pawn included as well. Just a personal favorite of mine.

How about dire animals?
I mention it because I wish I had a dire boar, but it also made me wonder why we didn't get, for example, a dire hyena. Or a dire wolverine. Or even a REGULAR wolverine, for that matter.
It might not even require Paizo to pay for any new artwork. Just take the same picture and make it bigger.
(Perhaps some people will disagree with me on that last point. Maybe some would feel that a dire animal ought to look nastier, more vicious, and more dangerous than just a bigger version of the animal.)

An absolute, definite must is a pawn set with the more common creatures (Orcs, gnolls, goblins, hobgoblins, undead etc).
As these are almost exclusively likely to be small\medium the set could hold more pawns than usual.
I think strong consideration could be given to release these in AP Pawn Collection sized bundles (perhaps themed (goblinoid, undead etc)although I imagine one set would do the trick!).
Would be an instant buy for me

How about an online, interactive, build your own pawn set? Drag and drop, then download a pdf for the do-it-yourself folks.
YES PLEASE
this is what I would like to see. heck I would pay $6 a sheet to have my personal character in three sizes on a single sheet. and another for it in three sizes on a mount .
