Hey guys was going through the pathfinder chronicles-campaign setting and found a nice addon for clerics. Basically I give up my domains for D10 and BAB equal to lvl. I'm currently playing a inquisitor in my campaign but been thinking about going cleric to give a bit more heals (I know the general opinion but bare with me) But the question is, Is it worth it? I was thinking about taking the crusader archtype but since I lose domains I guess I can't but anyways general idea is pretty much using my spells to bump me up in combat and every so often heal when someone is on the ground. What is everyone's feed on this?

Sort of Ossian I would have a slightly faster gain on spells, plus access to more spells (not to mention the ability to hot swap heals if i really need) plus channel positive energy. Thefurmonger it is page 43 in pathfinder chronicles it is called Holy Warrior (Ex) it isn't a archtype exactly but it is the same idea. I plan to compare the two some more the group needs a tad more heals but I dont want to lose too much damage either

I am playing a "Holy Warrior" Cleric in a RoTRL campaign. Currently we are on the last book(6th), and its been a blast. I rock! Im a Cleric of Gorum and I fight with a 2hander. At 15th level I feel unstoppable most of the time. I use all of my 6th level spells for Heal and normally cast one buff(RightousMight, DivinePower, ect...) on my first round of combat along with moving into a better position.
Now I see your already an Inquisitor, not sure why you would give up the spell progression you already have. without looking at your character sheet I would have to suggest sticking with Inquisitor. But if you DM lets you trade in your levels or if you die and want to make a new character, Go for it.

I like the holy warrior, but I think there was a reason for omitting the option from the Pathfinder rules framework or the successor of the campaign guide. It may look strong compared to a normal melee cleric, but on the other side, at the higher levels, when the difference in BAB really matters, casting is usually the better (or most of time the at least mechanically superior) option for a cleric.
