Its a penguin, blowing Grandmaster Brock a kiss. Come now, haven't you read the 53rd Edition of "Fauna of Golarion: An Expert's Guide"? The natives of the land observed such behavior and began to use the symbol (or the act) to indicate extreme happiness towards an individual.
Just *what* are they teaching these initiates these days...

While I highly doubt any races beyond what's already allowed will be available for PFS play (we don't need a huge wave of unusual races to hit the population), I do agree that (minor) rebuilds would be nice.
For example, if new racial traits are available, a one-time chance to change to one of those traits would be nice (like we had when the new factions came out). I understand that if a character is already created, allowing a long-standing character a change just isn't (likely) going to happen, but it would be nice.
Still, I definitely look forward to seeing the book having things available as future characters can benefit from anything PFS legal and it'll be fun for usage in home-games.

To be fair, this is only true if the same races get opened up.
Which one is missing ;) . At this point there seems to be a boon for every imaginable race out there.

Also, the additional ressources page does not list races thus far:

Wayang, Kitsune, Nagaji...
and this was supposed to be sarcastic.
Lets focus on the mainpoint. Keep the racial diversity at the gaming tables to a minimum.
And please don't disappoint gamers who travel far and spend a lot of money to get convention boons by opening up those races to the general public.

The potential to get a racial boon is a primary reason why you "travel far and spend a lot of money" to go to conventions? Wow. To each his own, I suppose.

So, I ran a able the other day. Which do suppose it consisted of?
6 humans?1 Dwarf, 1 Elf, 1 Gnome, 1 Halfling, 1 Half-Elf and 1 Half-Orc?
Yes, it is entirely possible to have tables of just one race, even, potentially, of one of the boon-only races.
It is also possible to have a table with no two people of the same race, even without any boon races in play.
One of our jokes in my area, before the 5 new factions came out, that almost everyone here was in Andoran. 5 Andorans and a _____ sat down at a table.
Heck, one faction failed miserably at their faction mission in one scenario because, while there were two of them, they were an Elf and a Half-Elf, and the person they were trying to schmooze despised the elven, including half-elves. Although it was intensely funny for everyone else at the table, watching the two of them blow every attempt at Diplomacy they tried with her.

Maybe we should delay it for 24 hours to see how many times you can hit the button in that time frame ;-). Kind of like how many licks to get to center of a Tootsie Roll Pop but more intense.

I have my hopes for what will be allowed and what won't be, as well as a tiny, little, glimmer of hope that we'll be able to do one of those one-time existing character changes, but the fact of the matter is this...
I won't get to play at a PFS table until Friday, so all this waiting with bated breath and repeated refreshing I'm doing is rather silly since I have to wait anyway...

I am hoping for the opposite.
Lets keep those races restricted for a more enjoyable and "realistic" gaming experience. Also it would make the racial boons useless.
Which would be a slap in the face for many diehard PFS players.
Yes those elves, dwarves and gnomes certainly are realistic!
If the choice is making the racial boons useless or making the ARG useless, Im going to take the ARG as I already dropped money on it.

Id have to search .... but there was something that the races themselves would not be legal ... but Racial traits / feats / and alternate racial abilities (?) based on the Core Races would be legal
I havent seen the book yet so Im not sure whats in it ... and as I only really play society if theres nothing in it for me ... then I most likely wont get it
