Adopted by goblins?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

It seems as though there is no legal content what so ever in the Goblins of Golarion book, has anybody been able to find something to the contrary? I looked over the additional resources but found nothing. I was just curious because I want to make a PFS legal character who was adopted by the little fire starters.

Unless it's a goblin, they are more likely to have eaten the tyke than raise it.

Grand Lodge

While I understand that is normally the case, a five year old adept that can cast fire anything would be highly coveted.

Perfectly fine. Planning on taking the adopted trait and a goblin race trait?

Sounds like that was his plan, but, for PFS, it appears that it isn't feasible.

And, as the original poster said, there doesn't seem to be anmything from the Goblins of Golarion book that is approved for use in PFS. :(

What about blood of fiends?

Lantern Lodge

I've been waiting patiently for PFS to allow Goblins as playable. I have a non-evil goblin I'm dying to play.

I don't think Blood of fiends hasn't been cleared yet. I have to ccheck it out.

You could play a human with racial heritage.

Grand Lodge

I believe he was wondering if goblin traits(from goblins of golarion) was available.

Pretty much this.

I love playing Goblins, but it's something I'd only want to do from the GM chair. There's so much room for baby eating, schenanigans and pure goblin stupidity as antagonists, and I find them much more fun to play in numbers rather than forcing my fellow players to wonder every session why they party up with one of the voracious little anklebiters.

Adventures where the whole party are monsters are a different story, but PFS isn't one. I also find most adventures of this kind are a lot more fun on paper than in practice (We Be Goblins, of course, excluded.)

More to the point, wasnt We Be Goblins being run at PFS tables? I'm not entirely familiar with the way PFS works, but maybe you could see if your GM is willing to run it. You won't be dissapointed!

Edit: Woop. Ninja'd by a real answer from Umbranus.

I am not sure what racial heritage(goblin) would gain you in PFS. Anyone know?

Lantern Lodge

Blood of Fiends and The Wormwood Mutiny rules for PFS are listed. Still no approval for Goblins of Golarion though. :(

You couldn't run a standard eating goblin in PFS anyways. No Evil alignments. The PFS rules for 'We Be Goblins" are that the experiance and items transfer to your PFS legal character or one of if you have more than one.

There a lot of fun things you can do with a non-evil goblin blackbloodtroll.

Umm... I know, trust me. ;)

Right, I know I can take racial heritage, but there would not be very many racial traits available to me in organized play.
