So who's excited for Advanced Races?

Grand Lodge

I know I am, I love all the Races books from 3.0 and 3.5, can't wait to see this new content! ^_^

Dark Archive

The one book I might actually cancel my subscription for.

Yep, races generation books have always been among my favorite.Growing impatient.

I know I want it

I want it, that's for sure! Hopefully there will be a race for draconic humanoids... Dragon Disciple just doesn't fit the bill anymore!

Shadow Lodge

Pass.

I'm interested. I must create an evil halfling race.

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I'm looking forward to the stuff regarding existing races. The 'making new races' stuff, I could take or leave.

Sovereign Court

I enjoyed a lot of the race books from the older editions of the game, and look forward to Paizo's usual level of high quality tackling the subject.

Plus the custom race rules sound very interesting!

I am very interested in this one and Ultimate Equipment. As for the NPC book, I had to loose a potential Bestiary, it's dead to me.

I always love a big variety of possible player races. Moreso as a player than as a GM, but this will certainly be alowed in my games.

Me

Starfinder Superscriber

Me as well even if it means it'll take some players in my games longer to come up with their race for the next game.

Silver Crusade

Very high hopes and worries.

I'm going to wait till it drops in price and look at the reviews for it.

I'm not really interested in the book for use of its content but for what it will say about the minds of the developers.

Pathfinder Maps, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Maps, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

I doubt that I will have any practical use for the book in my current game (since my half-elf summoner with the latest errata to the Extra Evolution feat will be taking that feat at his next three odd levels in order to catech up), but I will definitely look into it for ideas for future campaigns.

I also told my DM that the exact age of my vishkanya cohort may need to be adjusted once this book comes out -- we have to keep the age category unchanged, after all.

It's a really cool book!*

*says the very biased I'm-not-a-fiend-really-I'm-not

I suspect that the create a race stuff will end up like word casting. Interesting to read but not allowed near any table that I'm playing at so basically useless to me.

The Race creation rules are more of a GM tool, than a player tool.

Not particularly interested.

I'm eagerly awaiting this, I want it as it's something I can use to for whole lot of ideas. Where I'm really going find it useful is for the Distant worlds. They give you descriptions of the races but I want to be able to make some unique race that aren't just different looking humans.

I'm definitely looking forward to it, especially for the information we get on the non-core rulebook races.

I'm getting that one the second it comes out. Catfolk stand out as the race I'm most interested in learning more about, though.

Your not the only one who is most interested in Catfolk, Jabborwacky.

In the playtest released some months ago there was no way to create a race with breath weapons (unless using spell like ability, but that is far too limited).
I hope the definitive race generator will be more complete.

I can hardly wait!

I'm looking forward to the book for its information on dhampirs and changelings mainly, but I also like the catfolk and the five genie-kin races. I wish changelings were getting a 6 page spread.

Could care less about the race-building stuff as it isn't likely to see use. Might be nice to have on hand for the occasional monster creature generation though.

I want new alternate favored racial bonuses for all races and classes now!
