Hey all! I missed all of you, too.
John, hanging in there - been rather busy - too busy. Work's been kicking my butt - too much stuff and not enough time. At least I was able to get some time off next week (probably only time I'll be able to take off between now and February). Might go see Bohemian Rhapsody.

Welp, I'd (maybe naively) hoped things would go better, but all in all it went okay. Remember that while Republicans still control the senate, that's because of the way terms ended (Democrats won twice as many senate races). I'm also really happy with the way things went in my state, (we reelected Tammy Baldwin, the first openly gay senator). From my understanding, the international community took the Democrat takeover of the house as a sign that we are not completely crazy, so that's good. :)
I'll take a dose of positive but pass on the hug to someone else for today.
I'ma kinda hugged out after yesterday, when I was in a very bad mindplace.

After a very stressful week with a lot of long hours, I convinced my boss to give me Monday off in exchange. Lookin' forward to the relaxation!

Back to work from my much-needed vaca. Voted Tuesday then saw Bohemian Rhapsody. I thought it was pretty good but seemed rushed at points. Wish they would have done it as 2 or 3 films.
(Cap, as a fellow cheesehead I was quite pleased with Tammy's re-election.)

Thank you all for working hard to make the world a better place. Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Thank you all for doing your part in making that list shorter and shorter as more and more of us work on being ourselves. Yes, the list is getting longer right now, but statistically it's actually getting smaller.
