The mood I am in since yestarday wouldn't be helpful in keeping this thread as great as it is if I was going to adress that trollpost - flag and wait it is.

I have been very self absorbed lately and I apologize for that. Selene, I hipè your birthday goes off without a hitch. John, I'm glad your mother is getting better. Feytharn, I hope things get better for you soon.

I don't understand why people go to someone else's home and complain that they are somehow victims of the homeowner's existence.

It's like going to a gaming forum and complaining that they are talking about games.

Thanks, Bob. She hasn't had any similar episodes since her Lantus dosage was adjusted.

*Blegh* Feeling nauseous right now. I don't know why. Have to wait for my stomach to settle before I even think about having some soup. I hope that this isn't an indication about how my day is going to be. *Blegh*

Has anyone heard from Doomkitten? She hasn't posted any in a couple of months. I hope she's doing okay.

*channels positive feelings and offers hugs to anyone and everyone that wants or needs some*

Thanks, Rysky. Feeling a bit better now that I've sipped a little Mt. Dew. I hope the Ramen I just had doesn't become a regret. I'll do a little digging and see if I can find Doomkitten's last post.

Nothing since September 11, as Ravalon.

Scarab Sages

*slowly recovering from the grrrrr time*
I hope, Doomkitten is OK - these are the holiday seasons, perhaps she is just occupied otherwise :-\

I received news last week that my great-aunt had a stroke and probably won't recover. While she is 99 years of age, so this isn't completely unexpected, it still did a great deal to make a bad week even worse. To add to that, I probably won't be able to see her anymore, as she lives in England and I don't have the time or means to get there in a short notice.

*offers hugs*
*accepts hugs*

Edited for spelling.

Its hard, but 99 is a nice long life, and from the tenor of your post, most of it was spent in good health. Blessings on her.

That's rough, feytharn :C there's a comfort in the fact that she lived about as long as anyone can expect to, but no matter how long a good book is, it's still sad to reach the end!

Wishing her a gentle passing, and your family good closure.

*Accepts hugs and offers hugs* I'm sorry to hear that, Feytharn. Do what you can to keep the fires of her memory burning.

She died this afternoon. I am (sort of) happy she didn't have to suffer for long or needed extensive care after such a long, fulfilled and self-reliant life.

Your kin is at rest and may you heal from the loss but never lose the memories.

Hang in there.

Well, my nausea has gone away, mostly, and I don't regret the Ramen I had hours ago. So, I guess I'm okay now. I hope.
