Nah, Rule 3 just don't make sense. Bacon should never last long enough to spoil.

Hey now! Let's not sow confusion with new and different rules. Bacon should be all about harmony and joy. The rules are on the first page of the thread.
I finished a pack of bacon on Sunday. Fortunately, I have more for next weekend.
I've got a pack in my fridge. It called to me this morning.
But not yet.
Not yet......
Soon, my beloved bacon.
Soon......
Tomorrow.....there shall be bacon.
The bacon! It has been consumed! Oh rapturous joy!
I made bacon this morning. It tasted like crap.
AZ, what brand do you get? I need to find better bacon.

I buy Oscar Meyer Center Cut. It satisfies my tastes, and has what is (for me) a better fat to meat ratio (I guess you'd call it?).
Yes, that is usually my go-to. Somehow I wound up with some Tyson bacon, and it leaves an after taste that resembles furniture polish.

That is sad. It sucks to think that someone out there has found a way to screw with bacon. Probably some damned evil plot to try and get people to turn away from it.
The bacon, she is cooking.
Midnight snack: peanut butter, bacon and maple syrup sandwich.
I hadn't even started cooking yet this morning when the boy came running in the kitchen askin where the bacon was. I was so proud.
Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich 50% devoured.
Saving the second half for tomorrow's breakfast.
Shared some birthday bacon with my boy yesterday.
Bacon hot dogs
Why? Why would you do that to bacon? Sure, it will make a hot dog just a little bit awesome, but it's also making the bacon less...bacony.
Yeah, that doesn't look right. I'd get rid of the hotdog and switch it with sausages, then trade the bun for a biscuit, then trade the condiments for country gravy.
Saw a bacon alarm clock yesterday at Dave & Buster's.
I'm amazed this thread went to 800+ posts..wow..hiding this before I get sucked into actually talking about bacon.

Speaking of that most delicious of food groups......we're enjoying some this morning.
I had some really good bacon from the butcher shop this morning- SO MUCH BETTER than the grocery store bacon.

Agreed, but bacon bits in a hot dog? Why not just wrap a hot dog in bacon and grill it? Or just put a bunch of bacon in a bun and leave the dog out entirely? There are better ways to do this.
Just made the best bacon I've ever had, grabbing bacon from a meat market close by and baking it in a cold oven set to 400 F on a broiler pan for about 20 minutes. It was the perfect crispiness and taste, mostly drained, and just so delicious! Plus, I was able to easily drain and store the bacon fat for later cooking usage. Only downside is that the fat smokes a lot in that kind of heat so when you open the oven, it's really smokey. But, the bacon was amazing!
I do the same thing for my bacon, but I dial back the heat to 350. Got a container of fat in the fridge. So long as my refrigerator keeps running, that bacon fat has a longer life expectancy than I do.
I....did not have bacon this weekend. :(
Sadly, the wife has been grossed out by the smell of it lately, so in a rare act of mercy, I refrained from cooking it.
Sounds like a bad portent for the coming newspawn. =/

I tried these dogs--no discernible bacon flavor at all (sniff)!
The boy and I ate through an entire pack on Satuday!
With my wife and child departing soon, I shall have the bacon all to myself.
Bwahahahahahahahahaha......
I had bacon on a chicken sandwich this evening.

Experienced the lumberjack burger at a local restaurant this week ... The burger itself was good, and while the jack cheese was tasty and the fried egg was tasty, it was the bacon that made it a great creation.

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich this morning. Mmmmm.
Everything's better with bacon
Had bacon, turkey, and provolone pretzel wraps for lunch yesterday and the day before. Very good, though not very filling. Was tempted to eat two at a time, but they aren't cheap - better than Hot Pockets for lunch every day though.

Yesterday I was hungry for some buttered noodles, but I failed to notice we were out of butter before I started cooking. So I used bacon instead.
