Three Questions:
#1 It states in the description for the class that Swashbuckler gains weapon training (as the fighter) at 5th level, yet this it not listed on the progression table for the class. So do the swashbuckler gain weapon training or is this error?
#2 One the bonus feat list for the Swashbuckler are feats that normally require levels in fighter to qualify for, such as Weapon Specialization & Greater Weapon Specialization. Are Swashbuckler treated as fighters for the purpose of meating the prerequisites for these feats?
#3 Would the Dervish Dance feat allow scimitars to function with the Thrust & Find the Mark class features?

The swashbuckler and spellblade haven't been posted yet. I haven't been the most motivated to get them out as the Tome of Secrets classes tend to take a lot more work and have a lot more errata issues to get them in a semi-presentable form. (Also, the majority of the ToS classes tend not to be as well received in the comments section, with the exception of the Priest class).

Yes each are class features for the Swashbuckler.
Thrust is basicaly sneack attack that only functions with piercing melee weapon that is covered under the weapon finesse feat.
And Find the Mark increases the treat range of piercing weapon that
functions with weapon finesse feat and stacks with simular effects like
improved critical, & the keen weapon ability.
I was wondering if the benefits of the dervish dance feat would allow
scimitars to function with these abilities?

It sounds like find the mark would work since the scimitar is now a piercing weapon but thrust would not as scimitar is not a legal target for finesse.

And I wasn't complaining, heck I don't blame you, I wouldn't go any where near those classes.

I confess, I read this class and was underwhelmed. I think the (errata'd) Free Hand Fighter archetype works as well if not better, especially with Duelist levels.
What about the swashbuckler do find underwhelming, what advantages does the Free Hand Fighter archetype have over the TOS swashbuckler from a purely mechanical satnd point.

Thrust is basically sneak-attack: it's too limited to piercing weapons, and it is dependent on flanking, surprise or feinting. Thematically the fencer should be striking swiftly as well deadly while solo-fighting a foe, which this isn't.
Duelist was a good representation of this kind of fighter, limited by the fact it was a prestige class. The free hand fighter archetype is also pretty good, though not perfect thanks to the lack of skills. If you could combine these two into a single base class, it would be perfect. The swashbuckler above...just isn't there for me.
