Does the rogue trapfinding class feature
TrapfindingA rogue adds 1/2 her level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.
apply to disable device skill checks made to open locks?
By RAW it appears to, but RAI is questionable. Has there been an official ruling?

Yes, all Disable Device skill checks, locks included.
Come on, it's one of the only good things Rogues get. Give 'em a little break.

RAI depends on how you view the 'intentions'... normally it means that you are overreacting to something and ascribing those feelings as RAW going against designer intent.
Certainly by RAW the perception check is qualified while the disable device is not. Seeing how much easier it could have been written if they had wanted it to be qualified for both, I would guess that it was intended. Moreover it's not game breaking, so even if it wasn't originally (which doesn't seem likely, but to entertain that thought) I'm guessing that the designers are willing to let it be intended now.
Trapfinding gives a bonus on all disable device checks.. to sabotage a wagon, to open a lock, to jam a lock, and to disable/bypass a trap.

The intent of the ability is that it applies to all disable device checks. The disable device portion of that ability does not have the same qualifier that the Perception portion does, so that is not binding at all.
There will (probably) be no official clarification because RAW and RAI are the same.
