Multi-classing feat question

Quick question, I think, on multiclassing.

If a second level human cleric were to take Monk-Zen Archer at third level how many feats would he choose?

*One general feat for being a Level 3 character

*The monk's bonus feat from these choices: Combat Reflexes, Deflect Arrows, Dodge, Far Shot, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, and Rapid Shot

Is that right? A total of two?

Grand Lodge

That is also in addition to the Perfect Strike bonus bonus feat granted by the Zen Archer archetype.

That's correct. Note that the bonus feat doesn't have to meat prerequisites (he could choose Precise Shot without Point Blank Shot, for instance), but the level 3 feat does.

Thanks for the reply.

If he already has point blank shot and precise shot from first level, would you suggest taking Rapid Shot as the bonus feat? Being a cleric he's always going to be in Medium armor so that negates his Flurry of Blows ability.

Level 1 (Clr): one feat for character level 1, one feat as human; potentialy one or two feats granted by domains
Level 2 (Clr): no new feats
Level 3 (Mnk): one feat for character level 3, Improved Unarmed Strike*, Perfect Strike and one bonus feat selected from Zen Archer bonus feat lists (Combat Reflexes, Deflect Arrows, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot).
Level 4 (assume you'll take 2nd level of Zen Archer): one bonus feat from Zen Archer bonus feat
Level 5 (assume you'll take 3rd level of Zen Archer): one feat for character level 5, Weapon Focus (one type of bow), Point Blank Master.

*I haven't found any note about Zen Archer losing Unarmed Strike feature so they should get Improved Unarmed Strike feat as a part of that feature.

Unless your Wisdom is low and you are on front line often then I suggest you remove your armor. High Wisdom should compensate for removed armor. This way you can benefit from flurry of blows, monk's AC bonus, at later levels fast movement and save a feat for something different than Rapid Shot.

I agree. What's the character's wisdom score? I'd say a +4 or higher WIS mod is sufficiently close to a breastplate's +6 to AC to make the loss acceptable.

Agreed. As an archer, try to stay out of melee. When you have Flurry as a ZA, Rapid Shot is always suboptimal, especially when you can have Precise Shot instead. Also, if you are the healer, the mobility is totally worth it.

For flavor and a few other reasons, such as a Clerics being multi stat dependent, my Cleric has a Wisdom mod of only +2. Hence not wanting to rely on WIS to defend my cleric with a CON of only 10.

Mobility? Please explain? Do you mean because armor would slow me down?

Yes, because medium armor has a move penalty. If you're having to pop around and heal people, being able to cover as much ground as possible helps the party, and means possibly fewer turns spent trying to get to the wounded. Or being able to better position a Channel Energy.

Losing the medium armor would also give you fast movement, so you can easily double your speed from 20 to 40.
