Sorry about starting this one off, my wife insisted.
She was reading Sara Maries overheard thread and overhead me as I spotted a new post by Neil Spicer.
Sorry in advance Neil, I am being made to type what I said on pain of death by high heel kickage to the privates if I don't.
I said...
"Neil just posted the judges have moved to battle phase 2! He is such a tease!"

That's okay.
The other night, my girlfriend made me actually call a buddy of mine and apologize for remembering a feat wrong and overruling him on use of the feat (he remembered it correctly, I remembered it wrong, and I hadn't brought Complete Scoundrel with me to the game).
And she does not and has not ever had any interest in playing the game! I just mentioned it to her when I looked up the feat later!
In my defense, Survivor's Luck is a pretty unique feat; it lets you reroll a failed save after you know you failed. Most things make you decide whether to re-roll before you know the outcome. Doesn't make me correct, however :)

I find apologizing for this kind of situation actually a very polite act. Especially if the discussion over some rule led to frustration.
Your girlfriend is a nice girl, gbonehead. Listen to her.
I gotta admit though, I hate the feeling you get when, hours later, you realize you made a mistake. Better apologize and correct things. We're all mortals after all.

Perhaps you forgot your NPC BBEG had the special GM Anti Survivor's Luck feat.
