It's funded :)
That's great news and with 39 hours still on the clock. We might even hit the goal for the extra pages. I think it is a good sign that so many patrons are being drawn to this project so quickly. It shows that there is an appetite for some weird and imaginative "out of the box" resources. I'm very much looking forward to It Came from the Stars and hope to see it followed with an entire weird line of time travel, batteling gods, steam punk or perhaps time traveling, mechanical battle gods (ok, maybe that is to weird). The Weird Train has pulled out of the station and is picking up steam!

You guys are awesome! It Came from the Stars has been 100% funded!
Every backer now gets a free PDF from the ZSP catalog. Now, if we can reach $6,000, the minimum page count will start to increase, starting at 128 pages.
2012 is now the year of the weird! ;D

Thanks everyone!
The funding has sailed past 100% and is climbing. The first stretch goal to increase the page count is absolutely within reach!
But there's only 13 hours left before funding is stopped. Take the plunge, and join It Came from the Stars for a wondrous, terrifying, groovy ride!

Only 6 hours to go! So I thought I'd make a more personal video for It Came from the Stars. Check it out in the Updates section. ;D

I'm a patron of this project and it is really heating up! Voting on space monster pitches just started, a cool class and race is posted for play testing, monsters and adventures are developing and there is some very cool work being done with character enhancing symbiotes. It Came from the Stars has a really cool space/fantasy vibe that melds well with the material in the Distant Worlds campaign setting.

It's sooo close to being finished, Gorbacz! :)
We're in the last stages of laying out the print files. Hopefully, in the next week or so, a draft can go off to the patrons for proofreading. Then we'll get the files to the printer. The PDFs should be available for purchase shortly after that. And I'll be posting a preview when that happens, too!

I was to late for the kickstarter :( so I preordered the book from your web page back in September, but seeing that you are going to make a hardcover version I would really like to upgrade my order.

The PDF for It Came from the Stars is now available! Thanks to all the patrons of the Kickstarter for helping to make this happen.
Also, you can still take advantage of the Preorder Bundle at Zombie Sky Press to get one of the dwindling supply of limited edition hardcover copies. And if you're going to PaizoCon this year, I can hand deliver it!
The softcover edition will be available for sale at PaizoCon.
Watch out for the stars! :)

I've been slowly reading through the book. My initial thoughts are posted here. I definitely like what I've read so far.

Awesome review so far, Dulsi! Thanks for taking the time! And thanks to everyone that came by the table at PaizoCon to hear about the book, even when crazy space stuff really wasn't what you were looking for. Those of you that loved it just made our day! :)
I was one of those people. Got to delve into it a bit on my flight home. Definitely some things I can put into one of my current campaigns. Thanks!

Scott, I asked some questions in the product discussion, any input on them? Here's a re-post:
I have a few questions about Coalescent Characters. When they are in Medium Humanoid form, it loos like a swarm of (Whatever) clumped together.
Where does the voice come from?
Is there any reason if my swarm is a mass of 1" tall gorillas, my Medium Humanoid form can not or should not be in the shape of a gorilla? Or my swarm of snakes being a snake-body with a tail and no legs?
Obviously it can't give mechanical boost, but I'm wondering the authors intentions.
How does this race balance out not being able to have, basically, any gear? The concept is AWESOME, and would work great in a low magic setting, but it's restrictions on carrying gear make it appear to be a serious handicap once magical gear comes into play.

Hey, ThatWeirdGeckoGuy! Check that other thread again. I asked Michael Kortes, Swarm Master Supreme and the coalescent's designer, to add his thoughts. Hope that helps! :)
