I didn't see this mentioned before and doubt it has any influence but:
Does an eidolon benefit from increased ability scores of the Campaign Type?
example:
Low Fantasy (10 point buy)
Standard Fantasy (15 point buy)
High Fantasy (20 point buy)
Epic Fantasy (25 point buy)
And before the animal companion is brought up as in defense of a no, one of the main abilities of the standard summoner class is the eidolon, whereas a druid has the benefits of wild shape and full spell progression... I am not trying to diminish or slander the capabilities of the druid, but just wanting to know if it might be a good argument.
Thank you for your time.

i like your idea but do not believe it to be valid. gms already have enough game homework to do but i do not see asking it as a house rule consideratin to be a bad thing. it might even be prudent if the campaign is meant to be high powed for the pcs. especially considering how much the class is focused on the eidolon over the summoner. as someone with a pathfinder society organized play 9th level summoner, i say the standard eidolon is fine in a 20 point buy(same as pfsop) campaign.

Fortunately, no.
I say fortunately, because I'm of the mind to think that Summoners are a bit overpowered. Or can be, if built right.
I haven't DMed in my group for the last two campaigns and I'm still trying to get over the traumatic experience I had with the summoner, who was partied with a magus. Therapy is expensive, you know.

From a design standpoint, there is an issue here, but from a balance standpoint, it probably doesn't need to be adjusted.
The design view would be that the eidolon is one of the very few primary class features across all classes which doesn't get better with a better stat. Attack rolls, spell DCs, domain/school powers, and so on all benefit from a stat booster. But bardsong (only when used to buff) and the eidolon are exactly the same power for each bard/summoner of a given level (and archetype), regardless of whether they have 6 30's or 6 8's as their stats. Both classes also get spells and other abilities, but the summoner's spells rarely require saves, their summon monster ability doesn't involve any stats, etc. The bard does have offensive spells, and offensive uses of bardsong.
