master of many forms is... ok, but it just seems like a damage build. i like playing a monk because of the awesome control aspect not damage. improved grapple at level one is amazing for taking down healers and killing big npc's that use 2 handed weapons or even a sword and shield.
my second choice would be a maneuver master for the same reason, improved dirty trick = a free blind every round followed by unopposed flurry using a TWF build. absolutely insane if you think about it. how can you defend yourself against someone who blinds you, trips you, then next round beats your face in with a "flurry" of TWF attacks.
but still i want to play my jujitsu monk (tetori). because i love shootfighting.
