Goblin Witch Character

Advice

I am going to play a witch in my up-coming we be goblins game and I was wondering what advice people have to help make the character flavorful. I am obviously going to have a toad familiar, but I was wondering what hexes and patron you thought would be most thematic. I am definitely not trying to make a highly optimized character and am most interested in making him as fun and interesting as the 4 presets that came in the module. THanks for your help.

3 people marked this as a favorite.

Have him be absolutely convinced that his Familiar is actually in charge. Have him tilt his head and 'listen' to the toad, and then nod and do whatever it says. Have him tell his companions that the toad thinks this or that. :)

You could even go as far as having him think he's the familiar and the toad is the wise mystic casting spells through him. :)

You sir are brilliant !!¡!!!!!

He should carry a bucket of sand with him and every once in a while eat a handful. When someone finally asks why he is doing that reply “I am a sandwitch”.

Don't tell him these things, his head with explode. =P

But yes, that is a very good idea. I did something similar with a wooden puppet.

You mean like Mr.Pokeylope?

You might also want to check out Lorwyn, the MTG set from a couple of years ago- the goblins in the set had a very witchy/ shamanistic favor.

Jason Bulmhan's already ahead of you. :)

He has reverse Tourette's and randomly compliments the nearest creature.

He is literally afraid of his own shadow, thinking it is some demon beast out to kill him.

He is addicted to pain and always tries to get wounded first in combat.

He is convinced that he is a fictional character who was created by beings from another dimension and who has no actual control over his life.

He is a religious zealot who is always preaching the gospel of Toadism, beseeching others to bow to the Toad God.

He has multiple personality disorder and his main secondary personality is a powerful wizard who can't understand where his wizard spells have disappeared to.

I've decided on him secretly worshipping his toad as a god, unbeknownst to the rest of the tribe. Does anybody have an idea oh what patron i should have? as i said before i am not at all worried about optimization and just want to have fun

HATE!!

I still want to drown that damn thing.

in Pathfinder goblins are afraid or hate written words if I'm not mistaken.

Have him cast Arcane Mark over every single letter he sees if he has the time. Have a funny Arcane Mark, perhaps a big black square.
