Well actually, time to go shopping for loads of food for Xmas.
Three days of 'lets have a meal!' coming up.
Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day Lunch, Boxing Day lunch... kids running around on sugar highs, adults lying about on alcohol lows.
Unfortunately the weather here is really crappy and so there's no lying around the swimming pool.
Tirion mutates into an ogre, casts enlarge person on himself and then casts lead blades. Then he begins to attack the post-eating monster with his great sword.

Boy< i sure hope my holiday is more peaceful than the past few days at wokr havew been . . . last night I demoted a domain controller, thinking that its role as DNS server would be unaffected.
It wasn't.
Hot dam, you break DNS, you break EVERYthing. I mean, sheesh. I've spent ALL DAY fixing things. I hope the 12-pack of Bass Ale I've got at home is enough to dull the pain.

OK just kicked the extended family out after hosting Xmas eve dinner... so full of pudding... ugh.
At least the weather went from wet and horrid to glorious sunshine (although humid) so we could all pile into the swimming pool.

Woohoo! They finally let me out of the exercise that I have been inhabiting for a couple of months now. Sorry to have disappeared from all communication since October....I think. Limited internet access leads to contacting the loved ones instead playin' the games, lol. Sorry to have dipped so abruptly, but things have a way happening like that here in the Pacific Rim. Nothing serious, thankfully, with ol' Kim sick like he was you never know what could have happened I suppose. In any case I appologize and wish you guys some happy holidays and some good gaming in the new year.
Hopefully I will get the chance to play with some of you folks again in the future.
@ Bilbo: If your internet access is back to normal again, I don't see why you shouldn't return to the campaigns you were part of.

Yeah, HoL needs more of Harl's paladin input on raising young Flofer! Kirk is learning to just ignore him, and so Solaric has his hands full, haha.
EDIT: Also, I'm curious how the party is going to react to Flofer's actual abilities. Level 5 characters aren't necessarily pushovers ;)

I am a little shocked, and by that I mean very pleased, that there would still be room for me in the parties. Are you sure that I wouldn't be increasing the party size or stepping on any toes by coming back? I would rather not upset the balance if this is the case.But if it is not, what do I need to do to update my character sheets in order to not be a burden on the party?

@Sable, I'm working on the character for Bloody Kisses but am definitely going to have to have some help from either yourself or someone more experienced since making a monster into a PC isn't as straight forward as creating one from the base races.

I just saw Voodoo is out of HoL. That is unfortunate. He was the first guy I played with here on the forums and had a great time with him.
@ DMZ I also realized we will have three paladins in the same group. Would there be any issue with just making Harl an Armor Master Fighter to fill Pitr's departure? Nothing about Harl will change in terms of gear, personality, ect. other than class. Might round the group back out a little better. What do you think?
Feel free to rejoin HoL, I made a monk for that as both you and VooDoo were dropping, but since I am already in way too many campaigns, I will let you continue to harass Solaric. I will just put the monk on the back burner until needed.

@DMZ I'll re-tool Harl and submit his sheet for verification. Figured 3 was 2 too many paladins to have stomping about in a single game. Is there a warrior class that you prefer to have present. I can do fighter, barbarian, or ranger. I am open and flexible.

Bilbo - HoL is yours, if someone else drops, I can jump in then. Not sure whether Solaric is ready for a grumpy Oread Monk anyway. Plus, most of my time is spent trying to figure out how to get the mild mannered ogre, the shoot first ask questions later goblin, and then fight for fun Ulfen to agree to torture the NPCs in Journeys.

Wow, a hard cardio and strength workout this morning was unpleasant... was like trying to convince a brick to move. Now to do a Boxing Day lunch... so running this evening should be teh lulz.
Cant see a 10 mile run being attractive to me today.

Got a badass Tactical Tomahawk from SOG that is now part of my assault bag, so Santa isn't the only one who can make a rapid entry most anywhere,hahaha.
Just a heads up, I will probably disappear for the 3 days leading up to New Years and possibly the two or three days afterwards.
I am currently planning a very chaotic adventure that potentially involves driving down the entire west coast of the United States multiple times and I have no idea whether or not internet will be an available or realistic commodity.

@DMZ I have corrected Harl to reflect his conversion to a Fighter. He is now a Tower Shield archtype. I only had to change a couple of things to really make the fit work. So there was little need to re-work anything other than the mechanical side of things.

also found a small LGS with a stash of old 1st ed. modules. really fun leafing through Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth again and may resurrect a classic for my Freebooter game ; )
