The Legendary Games train is rolling right along.
We just added Robert Lazzaretti to the team. Woot!
Neil Spicer just turned in his first final manuscript.
Boomer, Jason and I are near complete on our several projects.
Layout templates are coming along.
I'm real hopeful that we will have some solid announcements with products to follow real quick for all of you eager Paizonians!
I can't tell you all how thrilled I am to be supporting Pathfinder and Paizo. I have so much love and respect for everyone at Paizo. And the community here is just amazing.
Keep an eye out for more from us soon.

You guys bring that one home. Can't wait to see what kind of art gets created for that one. In the meantime, I'll be turning my attention back to slaying a few other demons...i.e., there's another deadline on deck. The next one's for Paizo. Time to sharpen the pencil again.

Don't let that naughty kitty out quite yet, DM...
You understand that fiendish feline may or may not be dead, yeah? If you'd like, I could take a peek in the bag and let you know...

Clark - good to see things are moving along. Any possibilities of you and Bill teaming up on projects again?
Never say never. :) Actually, we already sort of are doing that. I'm doing the legal and stuff for the Frog God-distributed Tome that is coming up (which is a Necro product distributed by Frog God).
I'd love to write with Bill again. One thing that happens over time is you move from author to producer and you miss all the great writing. A few of my favorite Necro memories are from early on in the company, working on a smaller product called Demons and Devils. Bill and I wrote that together, truly. It was great. We did that on RA1 and parts of Tomb of Abysthor. But from then on usually either he or I wrote and the other produced or in any event never were both primary authors at the same time again. I miss that. He and I have very compatible thoughts about things.

Ooh! Excitement! I get to do a continuity announcement.
The following post, posted (as of the time of posting) under the alias of 'World Weary Edition Warrior' is not to be taken seriously.
<'offstage whisper'>
Okay, I did it, just like you asked. Can I have the 'provisionally' taken out of my name, now, please? It looks a bit silly and undignified, I feel.

Gah, another amateur RPG book publishing company. I miss the days when TSR was in its pomp, with Monte Cook unleashing Modron Madness, the Van Richten's guides were coming out and DiTerlizzi was illustrating the first two Planescape monstrous compendium appendices. After that it was pretty much all downhill, with the Wizards of the Coast take over, those godawful 'Die Vecna, die!' and 'The Apocalypse Stone' modules, and the slow slide towards the current state of play where the market's more fragmented than ever and everyone's either publishing either board-games or pot-boilers.

Hey, you weren't supposed to sneak a quick edit in like that at the end. What do you think that you were doing?
Oh, wait... No time.Ahem. And that brings our token 'raining on your parade' commercial break to an end. Having got it out of the way, you can now resume your regular thread with Excitement (TM), Vim (TM) and SUPER-DUPER GOODNESS!!!!!! (TM - now over the top with extra exclamation marks).
Oh, hang on, was I supposed to mention someone called 'Godwin' too? That makes no kind of sense whatsoever. I'm not going to do it. Fire me if you don't like it.

Harrumph. Like using 'fire' on a succubus is going to have any effect. Okay, people, clear the thread. Leave the nice normal folk to get on with their speculation about Clark's forthcoming products. Don't invite me to go postal with writs, or it'll get highly lawful.
(edited, tidied up, for true dwarf workmanship)<general shuffling of diverse aliases (that had been queuing up to post) out of thread in various states of disgruntlement and/or relief>
I apologise for the brief threadjack on behalf of dwarvenkind, but these succubi, you know... the fact that they want you to keep an eye on them's so distracting, and sometimes one or two slip away to make mischief, and they bring a friend or two with them.

Dear Dread Lord Orcus,
Many congratulations upon your latest venture into the Realm of Mortals. If I might be so bold as to make a request, please take care to beat Mr. Spicer at regular intervals to ensure high productivity, and to menace him with Gulga Cench and Memorymaker if he proves recalcitrant in his work.
I have been requested by my sister-succubus, 'Ask A RPGSupersuccubus' to recommend that Mr. Spicer should be particularly assigned to any spreadsheet-related tasks, given that he fully appreciates their power to bring chaos and confusion. (She is in somewhat of an odd humour at this time, and I am unclear if she is in earnest or making a joke here. She doesn't like to stray beyond the RPGSuperstar forums, though, hence her requesting I be the messenger.)
Are you quite sure that Facebook is sufficiently corrupt and evil a venue for your magnificence? Granted that these mortals don't have anything quite like the Countess Almathrada's Almanac of the Abyss, however, so a demon lord has to make do with whatever may be to hand...
Hoping that you have found this post Helpful.
Yours,
Ask A Succubus.

On a more immediately practical note than my alias posts, when it comes to maps, if you're looking for upcoming talent, I believe that Hugo Solis (also known as Butterfrog on these boards) comes highly recommended...
:)
Edit:
Hugo has credits for work in City of Seven Spears and The Thousand Fangs Below I am informed by sources I regard as reliable.

Hello Clark,
great to hear that you are "back in business".
I just seem to have missed something: I gleaned that Froggodgames was founded because you weren't able to pay as much attention to Necromancer Games as you did before.
Apparently this changed in the meantime. So why a new company and not just reanimate Necromancer Games? And why not team up with Bill and do all of this work together?
Kr,
G.

Guennarr, this thread should answer your questions.
Edit: This thread has more Legendary Games info, as well.

We are doing different things. He is more focused on retro rules systems. I am less interested in that. I want to support Pathfinder. Bill and I did amazing things together as Necro. But it makes sense for all sorts of reasons to leave Necro as its own entity and for us to do our own thing individually. I think those other threads really answer the "why". Its all good. :)

Just a hunch.
Although the soonest such a book could come would be this time next year. I'm sure they will announce Bestiary 3 officially and whatever book is coming early 2012 at PaizoCon.

Actually, Jason, Neil, Greg and Boomer and I were just discussing the other day that it might be fun to address some of the need for higher level adventures. (I hope you will agree that is a good set of names to be talking about high level adventures) You never know... We'll see... ;) Maybe not right out of the chute for us, but that is a possibility.

Why not put out an adventure path for levels 20 - 30, designed specifically for Neutral Good Paladins and Evil Psionisists?
:)

Throw in Sean in there as well. Apparently he runs a lot of high-level stuff as well.

You can trust her. She's a succubus.
I pilfered some of the manuscripts while Big Daddy Orcus was away passing judgement on some silly mortals that came calling. Had to sneak them back before he noticed though. Now I will have to gnaw my tongue off to keep from saying anything before he announces things all official like. :)
Not to mention there is more than just one product coming... of course I can't say how many... yet. :)
