I think Cal might get it next turn. 2 rolls with arrows can play merry hell with concentration checks. 'Course that is assuming Local Lemure Laddie does not hit us with an area effect SOS. Create pit/ Glitterdust/ Stinking cloud /Summon Swarm/ Darkness/ Fog Cloud any of these could really ruin our day. I think we can expect an area SOS or Haste if L3 has no area SOS spells. At least that is what the monkey would do.

By the by is there anyone in the 7 swordsman group who feels they have sufficient diplomacy etc. who wants to act as the groups main talker. Masamaune advanced age, skills, and class make him fairly natural at it but it's not fun for you to read two npc's talking. If no one does that can expedite things.
I'm happy to talk, but mechanically speaking, Daren is terrible at getting his points across effectively (as recently evidenced).
Liu's more of a soldier than an officer (or a gentlemen) so is probably not the best main talker. Once things get started he will definitely be involved though.

built in teleportation effect moves you out of the way of all energy attacks a split second before contact. The sensors still pick up the damage though.
This has potential at least the main character's showing the right amount of vim and vigour.
Could be good if they step out of the safe "hell" bit of the series and are willing to poke into other parts of the universe he occasionally runs along or against like the Endless, the fey, and the inevitable run in with The Spectre.
