First, Merisiel, I am duty-bound to convey a message: "your services to Imperial Cheliax are appreciated, and in gratitude please accept this chest of coins and our warmest wishes." Hrmph. I imagine it has something to do with that expedition. The one with the snakes they're writing those ten-copper novels about.
In light of your meritorious service and the implied request that I not attempt to bring you to justice, are there any accomplices or rivals upon whom you would wish retribution? Do you recall their names and places of residence?
Well... there's that undead ghost guy who keeps haunting these forums... can't remember his name off the top of my head though...

Any chance you could prod some of them toward making some appearances and answering some questions?Probably because they're all too clogged up on their self-importantce. Fame's gone to their heads. They're all just kids though, so you can pardon them that.
AHEM.

Merisiel,
What do you think of Dervish Dancing? Is it neat to watch? Would you ever consider it for yourself, to increase your stabbiness quotient?
My buddy from Kintargo, Shensen, knows all about the stuff. It's really cool, but it's more about slashing than it is stabbing. Still, it's pretty cool to watch.

Have you ever taken a cure disease potion as a preventative? Did it work?
I'm not sure what a "cure disease" potion is... but if it's the same as a "remove disease" potion, no. It doesn't work on diseases you don't have yet. That's what Billiver Billiven's Moste Efflugient Brain Tonic is for.

Erm... out of curiosity - how much did this "Brain Tonic" cost you? And were Kyra, Lem or anyone else trying to warn you away from buying it?

50 gold. Same as antitoxin, basically, but it does for disease what antitoxin does for poison. Also, it comes in original and watermellon flavor!

Howdy Merisiel! A few questions for you on this last Toilday of Neth:
1) Having never met an Ekujae or any wild elf, what skin color(s) are they? Copper? Mahogany? Chocolate? Dark brown like plain coffee? Coffee with a good chug of creme in it? All of the above? Some of the above?
b) Do elves ever get freckles or lentigos or skin tags?
Thanks!

I believe the extra "z" shows their rebelious side to not even conform to the proper spelling of their name

Merisiel,
A certain Tyrannosaurus has recently referred to you as "a giant talking toe which speaks in riddles". How do you feel about this? Will stabbing commence?
If anyone gets a stabbing it's the troublemaker who drove that poor Tyrannosaurus to such an extreme. (sharpens knives, goes hunting hounds of Tindalos)

Thank you so very much.

The trick to remember when you're playing a rogue is that you do best when you sneak attack. Don't get distracted or confused by how the big fighter types fight. You don't WANT to stand in one spot. Run in, flank, stab, then get out. Spring Attack is a GREAT feat for this tactic. Having skill in Acrobatics is also really helpful, since you can use Acrobatics to dodge attacks of opportunity. Feinting works... but it's harder to pull off than flanking, usually.
Snipers are fun too but they're even harder, since you have to use precious moments in combat to move and re-hide.
Getting access to things like invisibility really help. Dust of disappearance is expensive, but works great to protect you.
And in the end, don't try to match the fighter or barbarian in tactics and damage. That's not your job. Your job is to sneak in, get a strong sneak attack hit at the start perhaps, and then skitter around the fight providing support and periodic sneak attacks. Let the fighters take the hits once things go crazy. And remember you're also in the group to help with traps, locks, delicate social situations, exploration, and the like.
Oh.. poison! That stuff works great too!

Does this mean you're coming over to the dark side, the side of the assassin? You should, we have cookies...though I wouldn't eat them unless you've baked them yourself and know whats in them.
As you mentioned it is the job of the Rogue to deal with delicate social situations. Have you ever had to get any of your party members out of trouble because they did something stupid/illegal before?
I find barbarians are very very good at doing this and it usually falls on us Rogues to help fix they're messes. Does Amiri get into situations you have to diplomatically explain away alot?

Not at all. Using poison is not evil. It certainly makes some evil deeds EASIER... but there's plenty of examples of good guys (guardian nagas, couatls) using poison. Just as you can do evil with a knife or a pillow or a spell. Doesn't mean pillows are evil.
I have indeed had to get fellow party members out of trouble after they do stupid things or say things they shouldn't. Amiri is actually pretty good about NOT doing that kind of thing. Ezren, Harsk, Valeros? Not so much.
