The homeless mom will probably not do any time for her crime; at the most she will get some probation, and it wouldn't surprise me if the case was dropped. THEREFORE, the school district should take her to civil court and file a lawsuit against her for the $16,000 she took from them. They should also seek punitive damages against her too. That amount should be between $10,000 to $15,000 dollars.

You can get charged in this country for merely uttering 'fruity language' in public, as well as making slanderous assertions as to ones character in public.

And I guarantee that if I badmouthed a homeless woman she won't win in a court battle with her court appointed lawyer.

In this country you'd have no hassles.
If the Police didn't do it, the homeless woman would be afforded State sponsored legal aid to mount a lawsuit. They don't get 'court appointed' lawyers here, they get legal aid that allows them freedom to choose from a range of legal representatives, and that includes good ones.

My alignment has nothing to do with this issue! Personally, I think the Game has moved on from alignment, and it's pretty meaningless in a game and in the court system.

The issue is that the only meaningful thing in the justice system is whether you are a have or have not.
