Dammit, you beat me to it.

RPG Superstar 2013 Top 8

The piranhaconda already is from a SyFy original movie.

It's got the anaconda, certainly, but doesn't feel particularly piranha-y to me. Nor does it feel like an aberration. It's just got a fishy head, which suggests magical beast. Give it water breathing and 2d6 bleed on its bite attack, then it's got the best of both worlds. (Note that the increased Base Attack and hit points from magical beast and the bleed damage would probably be enough to boost its CR to 11).

Tremorsense? That's how snakes hear

Wow, I was being sarcastic, too. If my opinion of SyFy could get lower, it would. :)

It should be like that fish, that keeps it's babies in it's mouth to brood, and disgorges them to feed. The piranhaconda opens it's may while constricting you, and a swarm of eel-sized pirahnaconda babies slither forth and begin biting your flesh off!

I think I may put it on an alien planet for my players to ... discover ...

Nice, but I'll still put my money down on Sharktopus

I'm surprised you didn't give this monster the "Piranha Strike" feat from the Sargava companion book... :)

(if just for flavor... :P )

I bet you can find them both on the same planet...
