So the fluff text of Nature Warden says Druids often become Nature Wardens and sometimes Druid/Rangers do, yet one of the requirements is Favored Terrain.
Is there some super secret way a druid can obtain favored terrain without taking levels of Ranger or Horizon Walker or should I just quit paying so much attention to flavor text? It seems odd to me that there isn't a single prestige class in PF that is suited for a single class druid.

I can sort of understand the lack of a druid prestige class. Druids make excellent primary casters if they stat themselves that way. OR they make excellent melee combatants if they stack themselves that way. They can be good healers, good buffers, good debuffers, and even work for battlefield control.
It's hard to find an area you can emphasize with a prestige class that wouldn't either make them better at the job than the primary class *wizard, fighter, cleric* or be such a weak prestige class that no one would want to take it.

Yup. Druids don't need to diversify. If there were any prestige class designed for them, it would be to narrow their skills and focus more on one thing. But honestly, you can just about do that however you'd like with the existing system.
