Hey guys, I have started a forum board specifically for a PbP version of Pathfinder. most every other play-by-post board is devoted to DnD and there are very few Pathfinder games. The goal for this new forum board is to have somewhere for PbP that is devoted to Pathfinder. The board can be found at http://pathfindersociety.proboards.com/index.cgi. I hope we can get this board to be a notable place to play Pathfinder.

We have a lot of play-by-post games here on paizo.com, by the way. (Over 200 currently active at the moment.)
The Play-by-Post forum, where the games take place.
The Play-by-Post Discussion forum, where out-of-game discussion about the PbP games takes place.
If you're looking to join a play-by-post game, create a thread in this very forum, or the Pathfinder Society Grand Lodge forum.

I agree, PMG, the PbP forums here are great, I'm even currently playing PFS on the boards, and some of the early J series Pathfinder modules revised to core rules.
You just have to be patient, wait to see the recruitment thread, read a little, and see if its Pathfinder core rules, then simply ask to join.
Another Solution is to create some PbPs yourself, after you run a few of them, you will be well known as a PbP DM and people will literally line up for your PbPs.

Don't even need to be well known as a DM to have people line up. I had at least a dozen people line up for my attempt at embarrassing myself.
And if you really want a rewarding GM experience, look for a game where the GM has disappeared, and ask if the players want a replacement.
Due to the nature of PbP, there are always games that come to a halt when the GM stops providing updates. If you're willing to step in and fill such a void, the players are usually very gracious and understanding when you make mistakes due to the learning curve. Most of the time, they're just happy to be making progress again.

The DM to player ratio on these boards here is quite substantial. I've kinda given up applying to the non-first come serve pbps that I've started to gm my own pbp. Its damn fun I'd say. Plus you'd get a feel for the types of posters you have here on these boards.
+1
It can be frustrating trying to get into a PbP and seeing them all fill so fast. <sigh> So I think I can see where the OP is coming from.

Your game sounds great and looks like you have some mighty good players ;)
