Is the gunslinger still an alternate fighter?

If it is, the Gunslinger sure is still REALLY feat starved with no real way of compensating.

As was mentioned in another thread, making the Gunslinger an alternate of a Ranger would make a lot more sense and at least allow for some multiclassing into Fighter to fix patch him up a bit.

It was also instrumental in

the evolution of the gunslinger into a full class.
Based on this line, I would say it is it's own class now.
