This is a two year old thread.
Thread Necromancy to the max.
I couldn't remember the weapon property that let you do it, so I searched and found this thread. Who cares how old it is lol. If its the first time someone seen it, and they have input, why shouldn't they add it just because its old?
I ressurected again, it just for you guys;)

...so, you resurrected a thread after another two years, just to have an argument about how you don't mind resurrected threads.
And you don't even add anything to the discussion of the original topic, like 'people can use unchained rogue, fencing grace, or slashing grace now'.
Seriously, I can somewhat understand adding to a topic by adding new information... bu this is just necromancy. And not even an addition to necromancy (like some cool new skeleton template was added and you can use that with your basic animate undead spell).
It isn't hard to still be constructive here. I gave references to three different relevant options for this thread already, and I didn't go out of my way to do it.

Unchained Rogue gets to add DEX instead of STR to damage at level 3, but only with one weapon (light or finesse).

I'm from the future, guys. They nerfed dervish dance.
...and thus the problem with ancient threads.
Is this an OLD, OLD nerf (which would be startling news for cavemen from the farflung era of 2011), or something more recent?
Specifics on the nerf would help the readers who stumbled out here.

I was actually trying to joke about them future future nerfing current dervish dance to be more in line with current slashing grace.

Mythic Weapon Finesse allows this. Granted, you have to have access to the Mythic rules, just pointing this out for those few upthread who said there was nothing in the rules to allow it.
Benefit: When using Weapon Finesse, you may also use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on your damage rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty doesn't apply to either the attack rolls or the damage rolls.

Which one? I think there are three (four?) different versions of this.
IMO the current best RAW is the one for the Whirling Dervish Swashbuckler archetype in 'Advanced Class Origins'... which counter-intuitively allows you to get dex to damage with weapons in both hands so long as you have finesse and they are NOT scimitars. This almost certainly isn't what they intended... but they also don't usually issue errata/FAQs for softcover setting books like that.

Nothing wrong with a bit of necromancy every now and again.
Though I whole-heartedly agree that one should always add a template to your undead, least they die worthless and dejected.

so noticed no one in this thread mentioned slashing grace..... seems a bit of an oversight
I think the oversight was yours. Lemeres already mentioned it.
Well, since we're bringing it back, might as well update it. Unchained Rogues get Dex to damage.
Already mentioned by Lemeres and Theconiel.

We already have a sarcastic necromancy thread.
Find a guide for stat-juggling here.
Gunslingers get DEX to Damage. I believe the Crossbow Fighter archetype gives DEX to damage on readied attacks.

Perhaps instead of trying to modify DEX so much that it almost becomes a stand alone skill, why not try to find a way to boost up STR along with it? For instance, creating a feat that alows you to apply DEX to your DMG, but you must trade your DEX bonus to your STR when figuring AC?
Feat: Deadly Agility. Gives dex to damage for light and finesse able weapons. Source: Path of War, from Dreamscarred Press
